«©NCSX» The original Harvest Moon games were simple to match the simple life of a lone farmer. As the games saw sequel after sequel along with offshoots, things began to get a little complicated. Publisher Marvelous' Rune Factory games introduced new elements to the farming action and a third version of the game reaches market this week.

Players step into the persona of an androgynous lad named Maisu who tends to a little farm, grows crops, and makes a living off the land. Maisu also ventures out into the wild to battle monsters in a bid to complicate his life. In a nifty little twist, once Maisu gets hold of a wearable called the "Transformation Belt," he gains the ability to morph into monsters which allows him to experience new reactions from townfolk and monsterfolk alike. Early preorders will include a bonus illustrations booklet + CD soundtrack.

«©NCSX» The life of a trucker is fraught with human drama, hauling cargo, battling rivals, listening the drone of the road, and the occasional love confession from a coworker. If all that sounds good then Grand Trucker Aniki might just be your cup of tea. Players work for a company that provides transport services for their customers. Whether it be hauling perishable seafood or popular consumer products, players move cargo from point A to point B in a safe and timely manner. In addition to driving the truck, there's mini-games where players operate a forklift inside the warehouse, wash the truck, and perform maintenance on the rig. When it's time for a romance with a coworker, truckers may drive to their favorite spots such as a ramen shop where the eats are cheap or to an upscale restaurant if they've acquired a taste for the good life.

Shin Sangoku Musou 5 features completely re-imagined character designs and weapons, yet the designs maintain familiar characterizations that are accurate to culturally significant depictions. Shin Sangoku Musou 5 will deliver the massive scale and realistic atmosphere that players have come to expect from the series, but will redefine the Shin Sangoku Musou Tactical Action experience. With a new fighting system and entirely new actions and motions, players can string together fighting moves and experience gameplay that closely resembles the action of a kung-fu movie. These changes The new combo system, tentatively called the "Renbu" system, requires specific button presses to unleash a variety of dazzling moves that will mimic the fighting movements seen in a Chinese martial arts movies.

With a new fighting system and entirely new actions and motions, players can string together fighting moves and experience gameplay that closely resembles the action of a kung-fu movie. These changes The new combo system, tentatively called the "Renbu" system, requires specific button presses to unleash a variety of dazzling moves that will mimic the fighting movements seen in a Chinese martial arts movies.

The system, uses a Combo Gauge, which as it fills up, increases the Combo Level, which in turn allows the character to unleash even more powerful attacks and moves. The objective of this "Renbu" system is to add more visual stimulation while providing a sense of control over the action on screen.

«©NCSX» The relatively recent release of the black Wii Remote in Japan was met with a burst of interest and activity. In the ensuing weeks however, the excitement has subsided. New colors are needed to whet the market's appetite once more.

Nintendo's next trick to drum up interest with the mere use of paint is a Wii Remote which is tinted pink. There's also a blue Remote on tap but our antennae are getting good vibes from the pink variant.

The touch screen of the Nintendo DS features an 8x8 array of Baby Boo piglets which are in 7 different colors and must be matched in sets of three. «©NCSX» Hori updated customers who ordered the Xbox Real Arcade Twinstick EX on Monday with a confirmed ship date of November 29. This is one month later than we had originally expected but we're appreciative of the production and we'll get ready for the arrival of the sticks.
NCS received an unexpectedly large amount of preorders for the sticks and we'll be sending shipment reminders to customers in mid November.
