«©NCSX» The original Harvest Moon games were simple to match the simple life of a lone farmer. As the games saw sequel after sequel along with offshoots, things began to get a little complicated. Publisher Marvelous' Rune Factory games introduced new elements to the farming action and a third version of the game reaches market this week.
Players step into the persona of an androgynous lad named Maisu who tends to a little farm, grows crops, and makes a living off the land. Maisu also ventures out into the wild to battle monsters in a bid to complicate his life. In a nifty little twist, once Maisu gets hold of a wearable called the "Transformation Belt," he gains the ability to morph into monsters which allows him to experience new reactions from townfolk and monsterfolk alike. Early preorders will include a bonus illustrations booklet + CD soundtrack.
