NDS Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 3rd Story Pouch New Import

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» The third volume of Konami's Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side is shipping this week and it's going to be big. Well, big in Japan at least. Hori's horning in on the Tokimeki action with a product tie-in dubbed the Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 3rd Story Pouch DsiLL which is large enough to house the entirety of the DSiLL. Since the pouch can hold a DSiLL, it's roomy enough to hold all of the other DS models from the original model to the recent DSi. You can pop a PSP in there as well so it's versatile.

The pouch is colored bone and features a buckle strap which is more tasteful than Velcro which makes a discordant sound when ripped open. A floral design is imprinted on the lower-right corner of the flap which is the same flower shown on the cover of the Tokimeki Memorial game case.

PSP Tokimeki Memorial 4 - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» It's been over 15 years since the original Tokimeki Memorial captured the hearts of players and Konami continued the series with sequels, side stories, and a whole lot of merchandising. Tokimeki Memorial 3 was released in 2001 so the canon has been dormant for about 8 years but Konami rouses the franchise from its slumber this week.

In Tokimeki Memorial 4, players return to Kirameki High School where the onscreen protagonist socializes with classmates and potentially finds love amongst the student body. By interacting with the eligible classmates, players may obtain a love confession from a girl under the "Tree of Legend" and live happily ever after. Or something unrealistic like that.

Students in the game include covergirl #1 (on the right) Maki Hoshikawa, covergirl #2 (on the left) Yu Satsuki, a blonde named Elisa Doolittle Naruse, and a rough 'n tumble soccer player who answers to Itsuki Maeda. NCS has play-tested most of the canonical Tokimeki games as well as the side stories and the PSP version plays similar to the previous volumes. One improvement we noticed are the subtle facial expressions and mood changes that the girls show during interaction sequences. A girl's eyes and eyebrows can convey happiness at one moment but change into trepidation in the next moment. When speaking to a girl, you'll be able to watch her expression for clues indicating her mood along with reading and listening to her dialogue. In addition to the dating simulation, a number of mini-games and challenges are also playable during the course of the interaction.

PSP Tokimeki Memorial 4 Complete Edition Konamistyle - Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis
Update October 22, 2009
«©NCSX» After a couple of days of negotiating with our Japanese vendors concerning their assistance with ordering Konamistyle items, we're somewhat willing to start reservations today. The word "somewhat" is operative because the price is rather steep due to the high initial price on Konamistyle, the unfavorable dollar/yen exchange rate, and the service fee being charged by agents in Japan to handle the transaction.

Without further ado, preorders are welcome for the Konamistyle Complete Edition of Tokimeki Memorial 4 which is available in a DVD edition or a Blu-Ray edition. The bonus items included in the Complete Edition are as follows:

» Tokimeki Memorial 4 PSP Game UMD
» Tokimeki Memorial 4 Original Animation "Start Finder" DVD or Blu-Ray
» Tokimeki Memorial 4 Original Soundtrack (2 CDs)
» Tokimeki Memorial 4 Character Single Box (5 CDs)
» Tokimeki Memorial 4 Watcher Strategy Guidebook
» Tokimeki Memorial High School Private Diary + Calendar

The DVD version of the Complete Edition is priced at US$319.90 and the Blu-Ray edition is priced at US$329.90. Preorders are welcome to ship on or around December 3, 2009. Please note that NCS will only be ordering enough Complete Edition bundles to fill our preorders which we will close at the end of October 2009. Thanks for reading.

Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 1st Love Plus - New, In Stk

«©NCSX» Originally released in March 2007, Konami updates Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 1st Love with a full-voice edition where actors provide speech to accompany all of the dialogue in the game. In Konami's twist on the Tokimeki franchise, players take on the role of a female high school student who enters a private school for a three year stint. In that time, she applies herself scholastically as well as athletically to hone her mind and body. The heroine also uses charm, guile, and good clothes to catch a man and perhaps find love. Clothing plays an important factor in the game since it helps attract the opposite sex. Sort of like how a bird's bright plumage helps it attract a mate. To this end, a closet of outfits may be perused to find the right clothes for each social outing. Konami is giving away a bonus Tokimeki Deluxe CD with early preorders of the game in 50% ratio.
