G.rev is pleased to announce Under Defeat HD for the XBox 360 & PS3

Classic helicopter shoot'em up Under Defeat storms to gaming front lines in 2012. First released in 2005 for arcades, the later Dreamcast version has since become a premium item. G.rev has been very thankful for the high level of demand from fans to bring the game to a next gen console, and we are pleased to present details on the XBox 360 & PS3 ports.

 Destructive Realism

Rumbling tank suspensions. Explosions and flumes of smoke. Trees blown back with the blasts. Under Defeat pushed to the limits of the Dreamcast's graphics quality, presenting the battlefield in full 3D with realistic detail. Though the gameplay stays true to the simplicity of a traditional 2D-shooter, Under Defeat's expressionism allows gamers to indulge in the pleasure of blowing digital things up.

 All new Remix Mode

Under Defeat HD is not just a port of the original title. In addition to the arcade version, the all new Remix Mode (temporary name) makes full use of 16:9 televisions. More details to come, so stay tuned.

BlazBlue Regular Edition - Expected Later Today

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» The young'uns of today got it good. They don't know how good they got it. Back when we was kids, we had to walk 10 miles to school, eat hamburgers on plain Wonder Bread, rewind video tapes, and play Street Fighter II on a 16-bit Super Famicom. That was the Dark Ages when Japanese import games cost $160. Each.

Yep, the kids of today got it good. So good that they get to play arcade perfect conversions like BlazBlue for the measly fee of $60. The BlazBlue Taito Type X2 arcade kit was tempting when it dropped to US$2000 but $60? That's like manna from heaven. Don't even get me started on the home conversion perfection that is Death Smiles.

NCS originally stocked the first print limited edition of BlazBlue earlier this month but the regular edition (sans bonuses) has shipped from the publisher and is expected later this afternoon. New orders are welcome.
