NCS Product Synopsis
Original Update: August 7, 2007
«©NCSX» Ever fumble around in the dark in a
futile attempt to locate your bedside clock? The
one that's next to your bed (thus the bedside
clock label)? That time you were in a drunken
stupor? Nevermore.
Feast your eyes on the Mickey Projector Clock which blazes out the
time via laser-sharp light and plasters it on
the ceiling. Simply tap the top of the clock and
the light shines out like a beacon of hope.
After a few seconds it'll blink off but if you
need the time again, tap the clock again and the
time appears once again. It's magic like that.
During daytime, an LCD panel on the front of the
clock tells time without having to tap. Runs on
three AAA batteries which are not included.

NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» Takara Tomy has announced preorders for a set of six Pokemon Projector Lights which shoot out bright images of Pokemon from the Black & White games. Each monster's image is surrounded by a colorful background that is somewhat pleasing to the eye. The six Pokemon Black & White beasts featured in the set are:
» Reshiram - White dragon from Pokemon Black
» Zekrom - Black winged-beast from Pokemon White
» Tsutaaja - Green reptile Pokemon who's one of the starters

Preorders are welcome to ship in February 2011 at JPY1600 or US$25.90.
After showing the R2-D2 DVD Projector earlier this year, Nikko has started preorders for the ultimate Star Wars fan's home theater companion. Weighing in at nearly 20 lbs, R2-D2 can project a video image that's 80" with a brightness of 1500 lumens and image contrast of 1800:1.
Included with R2-D2 is a Millennium Falcon remote control which can be used to move R2-D2 around and control the video functions. The front of the droid has a slot for DVDs, a memory card adapter for SD, MMC, and MS cards, and a dock for iPod so you can play music through the built-in stereo speakers. Limited to 1000 units only. Preorders ship in Oct 2007.
In the Return of the Jedi movie, C-3PO and R2-D2 gain entrance into Jabba's lair and are given an audience with the massive gangster. During their meeting, R2-D2 beams a message from Luke Skywalker where the fledgling Jedi requests a sit-down to bargain for Han Solo's hide. Banpresto's R2-D2 Night Projector is sort of light that. Instead of projecting a 3D holographic movie however, the projector lights up the room with images of a partially completed Death Star, an X-Wing Fighter, and the Millennium Falcon against a backdrop of stars. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late October 2007 at US$20 each.
