«©NCSX» Return to the world of Monster Hunter once more with a new PSP game that centers around Yukumo Village. Nestled within a mountainous region and inundated with hot springs, Yukumo is a cozy locale for hunters to visit and relax. Recently, monsters have begun to roam the wilds around the village and a call to the Hunter's Guild has been made for help. Inside the village, hunters may look for assignments in the great Gathering Hall and purchase supplies at the General Store. For armaments and armor, the Blacksmith is the place to visit.

   Capcom originally released Monster Hunter Portable 3rd on the PSP late last year and they're bringing it back on the Playstation 3 with a high-definition visual upgrade which includes brand new 3D content (compatible with HDMI-compliant 3D televisions). Gamers may transfer PSP save-data to the PS3 conversion and the Blu-Ray will also include a collection of Monster Hunter OP footage. Preorders are welcome to ship on August 25, 2011 at JPY4800 or US$58.90 from NCS.

Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds on February 15, 2011    Capcom finalized the ship date for their upcoming 2D fighting game which pits the camps of Marvel and Capcom against each other. The game will be available in a regular edition as well as a Gamestop exclusive limited edition which is packaged in a steelbook case. Playstation Lounge    Sony unveiled the "Playstation Lounge" to the public last week at the Sony Building in New York City. Therein, visitors may shop for all things Playstation, ogle at elaborate displays, and mingle with like-minded New Yorkers in the mood for games. A gallery of photos may be viewed on the official Playstation Blog along with a video which takes viewers on a short tour of the space.

«©NCSX» The year 2010 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Neo Geo console. Even though the Neo Geo is an orphan nowadays, it nevertheless lives on in the hearts of staunch adherents across the globe and a steady stream of re-release compilations and hardware rehashes. The next hardware rehash is a "20th Anniversary" version of the classic Neo Geo joystick but it's unclear what changes are built into the stick since no photos have been released yet. The color will probably be changed and maybe there'll be a turbo-fire function integrated into the buttons.

PS3 Totori no Atelier Arland no Renkinjutsushi 2 LE - New

«©NCSX» Five years after Rorona did her thing in Rorona no Atelier Arland no Renkinjutsushi, the pink-haired alchemist is older, wiser, and has taken on an apprentice. Rorona's new trainee is a 13-year old girl named Totori Helmold who has the appetite for alchemy and a yen to find her missing mother who was an adventurer in her own right. Since Rorona has taken Totori under her wing, she endeavors to help her young apprentice not only with the alchemical arts but also with the search for her mom.

Along with the regular edition of Totori no Atelier, the publisher also releases a limited edition of the game which includes two bonus items:

» Pink crystal paperweight with a Totori etching on the front
» Set of four clear character mini-posters (Totori, Jeeno, Mimi, Rorona)

The items are packaged in a largish box which bears the same overall design and look as the Atelier Rorona Premium Box from the summer of 2009. That earlier premium box also included a paperweight and posters.
