«©NCSX» The Kinu Nishimura version of Mai Shiranui which was released a couple of years ago was one of NCS' best selling toys in recent memory. Two productions were required in Japan to meet demand and most shops have since sold out. Mai looked natural, somewhat attractive, and Asian- based counterfeiters saw fit to clone the toy as they're apt to do with products that are in high demand.

Max Factory releases another Kinu Nishimura figure and this time, it's Morrigan of Vampire Savior fame who gets love. Sculptor Takeshi Hamasaki was hired to do the job but Morrigan looks somewhat off. The figure's proportions are fine but her pose is odd. We once saw a lumberjack pose like that after eating 12 flapjacks and an equal serving of sausage links. Morrigan's face is also suspect since her lips appear to have been injected with collagen. Everything else on Morrigan looks okay including her bat wings and shabby-chic green hair which drapes downwards like a mess of limp hand-pulled noodles. Pricing is set at JPY12,800 or US$135.90 from NCS and all preorders are shipping this afternoon.

Over the years, the supply of full sets of six petered out and only partial sets of three figures remain as follows: Aulbath, Morrigan, and Zabel. That's two blondes and a ginger - a mermaid, a winged succubus, and a ghoul in leather who rocks out with a guitar that's as tall as she is.

Capcom Girls Collection: Morrigan

The daughters of Lilith are man hungry succubi who alight upon their prey during the twilight hours. In popular culture, Morrigan of Vampire fame is perhaps the sexiest succubus. Ever.

Fully aware of her appealing stature, Yamato commissions Mitsumasa Yoshizawa (Reflect) to sculpt Morrigan in a lean-back pose where her right arm props up her body while her crossed legs provide additional support. Morrigan's left arm is used to lift up a portion of her hair in alluring fashion while skin-tighter purple spandex covers her coltish legs. A barely there bustier captures her bosom in a clasping grip. Morrigan is a 1/6 scale polystone statue that's part of the highly desired Capcom Girls Collection. Her shiny stiletto boots look like they could do some major damage if kicked out at the right time. Or the wrong time, depending on your perspective.
