The "VF-171EX Nightmare Plus," which was the favorite machine of the main character, Alto Saotome, along with the "VF-25 Messiah", will appear again as an armored version. The kit is a snap-fit type that does not require any adhesives. TOYS Modeling Beetles [Preorder, 2024] US$26.98/Set

   The beetle hobby is strong in Japan with certain specimens fetching hundreds of thousands of yen to procure them from breeders. At a slightly lower cost, Japanese manufacturer Yell produces a quartet of beetles which won't set you back a month's salary. The four PVC specimens are:

» Giraffe Stag beetle

   Each beetle requires snap-lock assembly but once constructed, you'll have a rascal with 10 points of articulation for posing and posturing. The length of each beetles measures slightly over 5" in total.

   Ikaruga is making its way back to Kotobukiya’s model kit lineup with an updated color scheme and brand new decals!

One of the most iconic shoot ‘em up games, Ikaruga is known for its unique polarity changing system. Now, this system is being replicated in Kotobukiya’s model kit lineup with a Nuri Botoke version of Ginkei. The striking gold thread pattern is reproduced with new and improved decals. By increasing the ratio of high-gloss “GPPS” in the product material in the black runners creates a color closer to black lacquer, enablingt his Nuri Botoke kit to give off an impressive contrast between the gold and black colors.

   By building this plastic model kit to be geared towards advanced model kit fans, the details and forms that would have been omitted from a normal product are now faithfully included. The deployed/stored state of the small wing can be reproduced by reassembling parts, and the landing arm can also be reproduced by reassembly. Each pattern on the fuselage is reproduced with molding on the parts and decals.

   Also included is a special wreckage-like base made specifically for this Ginkei, drawn by Yasushi Suzuki, to add to the overall atmosphere of this model kit. The artwork on the packaging, also by Yasushi Suzuki, was also specifically drawn for this product.
Although the kit is only 155mm in length, it boasts the highest level of detail of any Kotobukiya plastic kit, so please enjoy this Ginkei [Nuri botoke].

   The Rockman Kit is requires assembly to prep it for display but once completed, Rockman is articulated so that his limbs may be postured and positioned into various action poses. Three removable faces are included to change Rock's expression along with a container of E-Tank and a Blaster which is part of his right arm.

TOYS Silpheed SA-77 Lancer Model Kit - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Back in 1993, Game Arts released Silpheed on the Mega-CD and updated the PC-8801 game with clunky polygon graphics that were not impressive. In the game, a ship called the Silpheed SA-77 swooped through the heavens and blasted at enemy airships as they flitted into the screen like Galaxians. Fast forward nearly two decades and the Silpheed SA-77 is back in action in the form of a model kit which requires assembly and a steady hand to put together.

   The Silpheed SA-77 measures 26cm or 10.23" in length and all of the parts in the kit are white/grey to reflect the original colors of the Lancer in the Mega-CD game so paint isn't necessary. Preorders ship in Oct 2010.
