Kato-chan is a versatile actor who appears in the game in various personas including a police officer, a geisha, crab, drumstick, mountain, and many more. The gist of the Kollon game is this: players control a 2x2 grid overlay which is used to rotate 2x2 group of colored crooked-smiley-face blocks. The aim is to create matches of at least four contiguous blocks around the cluttered playfield. When a match is made, the blocks will start spinning and that's your cue to try and rotate more like-colored blocks to touch the morass or ignite other color combinations elsewhere. With so many blocks on the board at any time, chain combos are ripe for the making...
