   Halo® 3: ODST returns players to familiar ground on a vital, top-secret mission. The gripping story, cooperative campaign and new multiplayer content will have Halo fans "Preparing to Drop" in Fall 2009. Originally titled Halo 3: Recon, the new game brings the perspective of new characters to the Human-Covenant struggle, as it explores the ODST, or Orbital Drop Shock Troopers.

» ODSTs: Follow the story of the legendary ODSTs or Orbital Drop Shock Troopers as they drop into the ruined city of New Mombasa, looking for clues behind the Covenant's catastrophic attack on the city.
» A new hero: Prepare to drop. Known for their courage, valor and at times, insanity, Orbital Drop Shock Troopers are among the fiercest UNSC soldiers, priding themselves on being the first unit deployed into hostile situations. While not as large or supernaturally gifted as their Spartan comrades, these Hell Jumpers more than compensate with their ferocious attitudes and unwavering nerve.
» Multiplayer: All the traditional features of Halo 3 multiplayer will be included in the new game, including full-featured integration with the Forge map editor.

   The Collector's Pack bonus is an exclusive olive-green Xbox 360 controller which won't be sold in any other capacity.

   The long war against the Covenant produced many heroes, but only one legend.

   He was kidnapped and forcibly conscripted into the top-secret SPARTAN-II program at the age of six, enhanced, trained, and encased in advanced Mjolnir battle armor, and ultimately becoming the Master Chief. For three decades, the Master Chief battled against the relentless Covenant, eventually making the critical discovery of Halo and tipping the scales in humanity’s favor by unlocking secrets of the long-vanished Forerunners. Now the Covenant has discovered Earth, and only the Master Chief and his AI companion Cortana can take the fight to the enemy and end the war once and for all.

   The Master Chief knows how to deal with the Covenant both at range and up-close and personal. Armed with a pair of fully-automatic M7 Submachine Guns, this Spartan can put out a wall of high-velocity lead to eat away at Covenant energy shields or put down any lightly-armored foe in his path. For combat that requires a more personal touch, the Master Chief has reclaimed a Covenant Energy Sword, a deadly elegant plasma blade that can pierce shields, armor, and flesh with devastating ease.

Medicom has started preorders for a set of four Halo 3 Spartan Kubricks which are scheduled to ship in August 2007. From the left to the right, the color variants are: Blue, Red, Green, and Camouflage. Each figure measures 6cm or 2.36" tall and the complete set will be packaged in a little collector's box. Preorders are welcome and pricing is set at JPY4800/set in Japan or US$45 from NCS. We've seen one vendor selling these for US$18 but that may be an error.
