Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus - New Import, In Stock

Arc System released Guilty Gear XX Accent Core for the PS2 in May 2007 but it was flawed. An undetected glitch made it to the production copies of the game which were subsequently released to retail. Arc apologized for the flaw but didn't remedy it until a year later with an append disc which fixed the game and added new content to make it a worthwhile purchase for fans.

Accent Core Plus added two characters to the original roster - Kliff Undersn and Justice with their own unique storylines in the new Story Mode. Every character in the game is featured in a unique story which is enhanced with voice acting and multiple scenarios. An updated Mission Mode features targeted objectives to meet in each match and the Gallery features one new cinema in addition to the illustrations and other content culled from the game.

In order to double-dip on the relatively recent release of Guilty Gear Accent Core Plush, Arc System ships a PSP conversion which includes the append disc upgrades (two new characters, Story Mode, and Mission Mode) found in the PS2 original. New features in the PSP conversion include a 4-player ad hoc mode and a new Team vs CPU mode.

The PSP conversion of GGAC+ was originally scheduled to ship next week but vendors in Japan released it early so we're shipping all preorders and new orders today. Breaking street is an international phenomenon.

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus - Import Preorder

When Arc System released Guilty Gear XX Accent Core for the PS2 in 2007, there was a flaw that wasn't debugged before the code went to production. Reports of the glitch appeared on Japanese gaming message boards soon after the game hit retailers. Roughly one year after the hiccup, Arc System fixed the problem with a PS2 append disc.

In order to double-dip on the recent release of the game, Arc System announces a PSP conversion which includes the append disc upgrades (two new characters, Story Mode, and Mission Mode) found in the PS2 original. New features in the PSP conversion include a 4-player ad hoc mode, the ability to transfer data from the PS2 game, and a 3-vs-3 tag team battle mode.

The preorder solicitation mentions a bonus guidebook will be given away to early reservations but no ratio information is listed. We'll update accordingly if the ratio allocation is announced in the next few days. Preorders are welcome to ship on July 31, 2008.

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus - New Import, In Stock

When Arc System released Guilty Gear XX Accent Core for the PS2 in May 2007, there was a flaw that wasn't debugged before the code went to production. Reports of the glitch appeared on Japanese gaming message boards soon after the game hit retailers. There was disappointment but no one grabbed a torch and threatened to storm the company's headquarters. Arc System didn't issue a recall (those things cost $$$) though they did post up an apology on their website to assuage the hurt feelings.

Nearly a year after the hiccup, Arc System finally "fixes" the problem with an append disc which includes new content to make it a worthwhile purchase. First off, two new characters rejoin the original roster - Kliff Undersn and Justice with their own unique storylines in the new story mode. Arc System touts that the spanking new Story Mode will feature voice acting and multiple scenarios which relay the unique tale of each GGXX fighter. A new Mission Mode has been added and the Gallery features one new cinema. This product listing is for the complete version of GGXXAC+ which boots directly on any Japanese PS2 console.

Guilty Gear X 1/7 Scale I-NO Figure - New, In Stock

The first word that comes to mind when checking out Max Factory's Guilty Gear X I-NO figure is "funky." Some other words that might be bandied about the room could be "flaky," "ditzy," and conditionally "sexy" in a crazy sort of way.

As one might have surmised from the product header, I-NO hails from the Guilty Gear X games where she serves a shadowy figure known as Ano Otoko. Under instructions from Ano Otoko, I-NO machinates and manipulates the fighters in the Guilty Gear X game against each other. In the Guilty Gear XX sequel, I-NO is the boss character and the ultimate opponent in the game. I-NO's primary weapon is an electric guitar which she strums to blow out sonic blasts and wreaks havoc on opponents by swinging it like an actual axe. I-NO's witch hat also provides offensive capability to stun oncoming attackers.

Max Factory's Guilty Gear I-NO PVC figure is set at 1/7 scale and measures 26.50cm or 10.43" tall. The likeness of the figure is true to I-NO's wacky video game persona and her body is posed in a manner which conveys her unique personality.

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus (Append Edition) - Preorder

When Arc System released GGXX Accent Core for the PS2 earlier this year, there was a flaw that wasn't debugged before the code went to production.

Months after the hiccup, Arc System finally "fixes" the problem with an append disc which includes new content to make it a worthwhile purchase.

Please note that the GGXX Accent Core Plus Append Disc requires the original Guilty Gear XX AC game since it's only a data disc without the game engine. NCS is also accepting preorders for the full edition of GGXX AC Plus at a price of US$55. Both versions are scheduled to ship on Mar. 27, 2008.

Super Battle DVD Vol. 1 Guilty Gear XX AC - In Stock

Japan's got talent as game designers as well as game players. Make that hardcore game players who evidently have all the time in the world to hone their craft and precision through hundreds of hours of practice. This is evident in spades with Enterbrain's first Tougeki '07 Super Battle DVD which features crisp video captures of expert players pummeling each other in Guilty Gear XX Accent Core.
Earlier this year, a national Guilty Gear XX AC tournament was held in Japan where players conglomerated together to test their skills against each other. Slowly but surely, the cream of the crop rose to the top until the two best players were pitted against each other for a bout that would thrill all in attendance.
Since most Americans missed out on the tournament, Enterbrain steps in with a 90-minute DVD which features bouts from the tournament finals and the ultimate battle between the top players. The video is spooled directly from the coin-op machine's feed so anyone who's fearful of shaky-cam antics can rest assured that there'll be none of that here. The DVD is region-free and will work fine on standard DVD-players released for the North American market. Jan Code:

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core

When the Naomi version of the GGXX Accent Core kit was released in December 2006, NCS filled a healthy amount of preorders at US$1850/pop. More orders flowed in afterwards but by that time, our coin-op vendors were already sold out and no stock was forthcoming. Less than six months after hitting Japanese arcades, Arc System shows love to the GGXX elite by releasing a faithful conversion of the game on the humble Nintendo Wii for a measly US$49.

Built on the Guilty Gear XX game engine, Accent Core may be considered the latest and greatest tweak/upgrade of the original game. The cast of 23 default characters all have new moves as well as specials and many of them control differently. The engine also features EX moves aka Force Breaks, Throw Breaks, and Parrying which radically modify the way the game played by seasoned GGXX fans. Arc System also throws in new stages, new character and announcer voices, and new character artwork. Casual gamers may look at the past few GGXX updates as minor in scope but the system updates made in Accent Core are significant and greatly enhance the gameplay experience for the hardcore fan.

PS2 Guilty Gear XX #Reload Fighting Pad - [Sale]

NCS originally put the GGXX Fighting Pads up for sale in our first wave of SOTDs a few years ago. We sold roughly 1/2 of our original inventory but there's still a few hundred in stock. So, we're throwing them up again. The controller is a specially designed ASCII fighting pad which works with the Guilty Gear XX Sharp Reload game and other fighting games such as Soul Calibur 2 and Capcom vs SNK 2.
All four main buttons are represented on the face of the pad: "X, O, SQUARE and TRIANGLE" along with "R1" below the "O" and a miniature "R2" above the "TRIANGLE" button.
