PSP Ys I & II Seven Set - Import Preorder

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» The Ys games have sold decent numbers on the Playstation Portable with most of the vendors in our Japanese distribution and reseller channel holding very little inventory. Just in case anyone in Japan wants the Ys games in a bundle at a lower price point, Falcom is releasing a Ys package which contains the following:

» Ys I & II Chronicles - Relive the adventures of Adol Christian in a Playstation Portable remake of a PC remake (June 2001) of the first two Ys games from the late 80s.
» Ys Seven - Adol Christian and his faithful blue-haired friend Dogi are back in a brand new action-adventure that's a PSP exclusive. For now, at least. The game features a 3D world where Adol and company travel, explore, and battle enemy forces. Depending on the type of enemy, players can switch between active party members to combat foes in real-time. Special EX skills may be acquired to enhance the heroes' battlefield efficiency. Combat takes place in close quarters where Adol's party throws out melee attacks mixed with magic blasts to illuminate the screen with visual fireworks.
» Ys Postcards Set - A collection of eight postcards which feature new illustrations of the characters from the Ys games.

Preorders for the PSP import Ys I & II Seven Set are welcome to ship on March 18, 2010 at JPY7980 or US$88.90 from NCS.

Ys I & II Chronicles + Bonus OST - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Relive the adventures of Adol Christian in Ys I & II Chronicles which is a PSP remake of a PC remake (June 2001) of the original games that were released in the late 80s. That was 20 years ago when console software was cartridge-based and system memory was miniscule and dear.

With the power of the PSP at their disposal and the sizable storage space of the Sony UMD, Falcom gives their classic Ys games a new generation upgrade and graphical facelift. The audio soundtrack has also been updated with background music (BGM) rearrangements for added value. Falcom touts three game modes for Ys I and Ys II, selectable graphics modes, and four difficulty levels (Easy, Normal, Hard, and Nightmare).
