NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» In the original Nine-Nine Nights, a single warrior went to town on entire battalions of enemy soldiers and mowed them down with conspicuous ease. Based on the previews of Ninety-Nine Nights 2, the game is more of the same where a super-warrior kills not only one or two squads of troops but thousands upon thousands of them. Usually within the span of a few minutes.
In the world of N3, the lands of the elves, goblins, humans, and ogres have been beset by a dark army led by the "King of Night." The King and his hordes ravage the world for ninety-two days but a hero emerges to meet the dark armies and their King. Such a hero must wield two swords, wear a constant scowl on his face, and have slashing skills that would even put the scare in Chuck Norris.
Konami touts 100 types of skills that may be used in N3II which allow for a variety of killing moves and tactics. One wouldn't want to kill enemy soldiers just by way of rote hacking and slashing - a hero needs a bunch of different ways to eviscerate the opposition.
Preorders are welcome to ship on July 22, 2010 at JPY6800 or US$69.90 from NCS. The original N3 included a bonus flick-action keychain as a preorder incentive but sadly no such incentive is listed for N3II.
