 «©NCSX» Fresh from its showing at the International Tokyo Toy Show over the weekend, Bandai's Smart Pet is on offer from Japanese suppliers this week. Smart Pet is shaped like a dog with limbs which move the robot to and fro but the brains of the device lie in the Smart Pet application which runs on an iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 / 4S, or an iPod Touch (4th generation) running on iOS 4.3 or later. The slot on the front of the Smart Pet serves as an interface with the screen of the iPhone showing the pet's facial expressions and menu commands. In addition to the robotic pooch, a bone attachment is included inside the packaging which may be 'fed' to Smart Pet as a reward. Orders are welcome to ship on Thursday-Friday of this week.
