«©NCSX» The Zelda games by Shigeru Miyamoto have captivated children and adults alike for nearly three decades. That kind of staying power and devotion demands respect and merchandising. Takara Tomy pays homage to the Zelda franchise by announcing a collection of 16 pins who feature the game covers of every release in the Zelda library. Every one of them starting from the original Legend of Zelda from the Famicom (aka NES, stateside) to the recent remake of Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 3DS. It's a shame that Skyward Sword won't be included in the collection.

   The Zelda pins are normally sold randomly from gashapon dispensers in Japan which entails a lot of duplicate pins and knob spinning. However, to ease the burden of collecting all 16 pins in the collection, NCS is gathering them all up and selling them in a complete 16-pin pack. Pricing is set at US$128.90 from NCS.

   Every factory sealed box that NCS sells contains the full set of seven figures as listed above and duplicates. The figures measure between 10cm and 13cm (3.93 and 5.11") tall and are crafted from PVC plastic and carefully painted for cleanliness and proper likeness. The six characters listed above are standard and the seventh secret character is Vincent Valentine when he was younger and a member of the Turks. Please note that the toys are blind boxed, packed in black bags inside each blind box, and the figures are randomly packaged in each factory sealed box of 12 units. 

   Further, please note that only one color variant of each figure are featured in this set - the normal paint version as seen on the front of the packaging. Only the original release of Final Fantasy Trading Arts Vol 1 included a variant metallic color version of the figure in addition to the normal paint version. Pricing is set at $89.90 for a complete factory sealed case of 12 figures + shipping. «©NCSX» In the Oneechan Bara VorteX game from December 2006, sisters Aya and Saki teamed up with a policewoman named Anna to rid the metropolis of a rising zombie threat. When plunging into masses of undead with the goal of chopping them up, most sensible warriors would put on some armor, chain mail, or at least a shiny armlet.
 

   She goes to war wearing a two-piece bikini, a hat, and a pair of thigh high boots. Occasionally she'll throw on a feather boa to accessorize. In the case of the Oneechan Bara VorteX Aya figure, our idol also wears a beaded necklace and hefts two swords for that special dual slicing action.
 

   The Aya figure is set to 1/8 scale and measures 20cm or 7.87" tall. Two color variants are on offer - a red bikini figure as shown in the product photo to the left and a black bikini version. Other than the color of the bikini and the shade of the tassels on her gloves, the two figures are identical. Aya also wears a hat which may be removed to reveal her hat-flattened hair.
