Snow in Tokyo
Record snowfall in
western Tokyo is hampering transportation and delivery of goods and vendors in
the city alerted us of possible delays in their shipments later this week. If
there are flight delays out of Tokyo, we'll post an update by Thursday.

TOYS Star Wars Light-Up Chopsticks - Import Update #2
NCS Product Synopsis
The Star Wars Light-Up Chopsticks have arrived at UPS' warehouse in Maspeth, New York City, this morning but since today is President's Day, they marked our building as closed even though this building we toil inside is open 364 days a year including Christmas and New Year's. We've told UPS time and again that the building is always open but it seems that it's standard procedure to mark commercial buildings as closed during holidays. Due to this delay, NCS will begin shipping the chopsticks tomorrow and we expect all shipments to be dispatched by Thursday.
We noticed a lot of customers have moved since they placed their preorders in 2012 so we've sent out emails over the past weekend to re-check addresses. Thanks to everyone who has already replied with their updated addresses including one who moved from the United States to Australia and another who's now in Japan since their preorder purchases.

NEWS Office Construction Work
NCS Product Synopsis
There's a jackhammer destroying concrete in the office above ours so we'll be in and out of the office today in an effort to escape the bone-rattling tremors reverberating throughout the building. How is this allowed during a business day? No one knows but according to the grunt jackhammer operator, "They told me to do this today. The building inspector is coming next week. Gotta do it today." Calls to the building management weren't returned.
In other news, the crack maintenance staff in the building didn't shovel the ramp to the second floor garage properly and two vans were stuck for over an hour as snow was cleared. Comedy.

TOYS Rockman Badge Collection - Import Preorder

Capcom presents a collection of Rockman pin-badges which one may attach to a lapel, a shirt, or a tie to show one's affection for the little blue 8-bit hero. The four variations in the set are:

The badges measure 7.5cm in diameter and are made of tinplate steel. Although Capcom is selling the pins separately in Japan, NCS is gathering them all up and supplying them in a set for US$20.90. Preorders are welcome to ship on or around March 27, 2014.
