Nico Robin always looks chic and Nami looks better than most female pirates who spend their days on the high seas. The girls of One Piece are also very robust as evidenced by Morimoto's One Piece 3D Mouse Pads which feature three girls from the popular animated series as follows:

» Nami - Her expression seems to convey vulnerability as her ample bosom is barely constrained by a meager bikini. 

» Boa Hancock - One of three Gorgon sisters who enjoys a human-appearance as opposed to the Methuseleh-like vibe of her younger sisters. Boa's bosom on the mousepad is nearly as plump as her bosom in the One Piece animated series.

» Nico Robin - Nic raises her arms because they just get in the way and all attention must be on her bosom.

   The "3D" in the product title refers to the protruding "breasts" that jut out from the bottom of the pad. The breasts are filled with a solid gel-like material which is designed to cushion and conform to one's hand as it rests upon the pad. PC users who maneuver a mouse on top of a 3D mousepad apparently don't suffer from the debilitating effects of carpal tunnel syndrome. The operative word in that last sentence is "apparently."

TOYS Portrait of Pirates One Piece "Strong Edition" Usopp - Re

«©NCSX» The One Piece Strong World movie opened across Japan last month and Megahouse has been busy crafting a number of Portrait of Pirates figures based on the crew of the Jolly Roger. In the new selection of toys, the Straw Hat Pirates are depicted in a more mature and serious manner. Luffy is no longer looks like the clown-prince of the high seas in his "Strong" rendition and Nami's "Strong Edition" makes her look like a sophisticated Vegas showgirl.

   Megahouse unveils the third pair of figures in their Strong Edition series which features Nico Robin and Usopp. The joker-faced Usopp wears a black-and-white striped getup that may be likened to pajamas which he overlays with shiny black samurai shielding. A horned helmet rests on top of Usopp's head to accentuate the samurai theme and his Kabuto slingshot weapon is present. This new reproduction of the Usopp figure is in stock and available to ship today. New orders are welcome.

Dollar Breaks to New Lows    Japan moved to weaken the yen yesterday. Today, the dollar is dropping further to fresh new lows against the yen. A few weeks ago, we would have traded this move on the long side but it's a dumb gamble so NCS is not playing anymore. Well, not until 78 is breached.

TOYS Black Lagoon Revy Mizugi Swimsuit Version - New

«©NCSX» In the Black Lagoon serial, Revy Mizugi is a member of Lagoon Company which smuggles contraband and performs mercenary work for private parties. Revy is the muscle for the outfit and she's always packing heat - even when she's in a pink two-piece bikini and obvious threats are at least a continent away. Maybe she's leery of an ominous fiddler crab that's sharing the beach with her. It's been giving her the evil eye.

    New Line's upcoming Revy Swimsuit Figure is sculpted to 1/6 scale and measures 26cm in height. Since Revy is probably near the ocean when she's in bikini mode, she carries an APS Underwater Assault Rifle in case the aforementioned fiddler crab makes a move. A blade is strapped to her left arm and her trademark tattoo may be viewed over her right shoulder and back. All preorders and new orders are shipping today.

«©NCSX» The coin-op version of Arcana Heart 3 debuted in Japanese arcades last Winter on developer Examu's eX-BOARD hardware. Nearly a full year later, Examu has started preorders for the PS3 and X360 conversions of the game which are shipping on January 13, 2011.

   The storyline in AH3 takes place 2 months after the events in Arcana Heart 2 and dire events have been set in motion by an organization named the "Drexler Institution" which threatens the destruction of Japan.

   The fighting ginger named Aino Heart is back but she's not the focal point of the third Arcana Heart game. The lead heroine in Arcana Heart 3 is a blonde girl named Weiss who appears to be a humorless 14-year old student. She's really an operative working for Valkyria which is an arm of the Drexler Institute. The rest of the cast of the Arcana Hearts game also return such as Saki Tsuzura, Angelia Avallone, Kamui Tokinomiya, Maori Kasuga, and Mei-Fang. Each girl is accompanied by a unique "Arcana" which is a powerful being who supplements the girl's fighting skills with a repertoire of special attacks and powers. New to AH3 is the "Force Gauge" which allows for the use of a move called "Extend Force" which is a close cousin of the "Arcana Burst" move. The best news of all? Arc System is handling the game themselves so there's little chance of the conversion being botched.

   The home conversions of Arcana Heart 3 are based on v3.01 of the arcade game and includes a new Story Mode, a Training Mode, Online Network Play for up to 6 fighters, and two screen aspect modes (4:3 and 16:9). Preorders for the PS3 and X360 versions are welcome to ship on January 13, 2011.

«©NCSX» We have a problem. It's an addiction or maybe a habit that we haven't been able to break since starting the company back in the day. The problem is this: Once we buy a game or accessory and keep it, we have to buy every single related game or accessory. For example, we have every version of the Arcana Heart games including the coin-op versions and the Hori RAP joysticks. We really don't need another HRAP but after seeing the Arcana Heart 3 joystick, we had to have it. The joystick features turbo-fire and includes two sets of stickers which feature the characters from the Arcana Heart 3 game.

   Preorders for the PS3 or 360 versions of the AH3 Real Arcade Pro joystick are welcome to ship on January 13, 2011 at JPY13,143 or US$229.90 from NCS. The overbearing yen and shipping costs are conspiring to make the joystick another one of those expensive propositions. 

TOYS Oboro Muramasa: Momohime 1/6 Scale - Restocked

«©NCSX» In the Oboro Muramasa game, a kunoichi named Momohime and a ninja named Kisuke were the agents of destruction in a side scrolling platform action game. Momohime had style, speed, and deft sword handling skills which she used to chop down flighty ninja foes. Kisuke was cool too but Momohime cut a more presentable silhouette. 

   Alter pays homage to Momohime with a pretty 1/6 scale figure which measures 21cm or 8.26" tall. Momo's color scheme mixes pink and blue with two stalks of fuchsia which cover her lower legs. We're somewhat leery of the one-foot-pose because some of our Alter figures on display have a tendency to lean and falter to the effects of gravity. To prevent leaning, our Momohime figure might be supported by clear-plastic braces if we decide to display her on office shelving. New orders are welcome at JPY7800 or US$109.90 from NCS.
