«©NCSX» The American version of Witchblade featured a heroine named Sara Pezzini who later gave the Witchblade gauntlet to a dancer named Danielle Baptiste. The Japanese localization of Witchblade could have been a 1:1 rendition of USA storyline but the producer Gonzo decided to go in another direction. The studio created a new heroine named Masane Amaha who becomes the wearer of the Witchblade during a cataclysmic event that levels Tokyo.

Masane is a buxom brunette who gets tipsy even when she's not drinking which adds comedic foil to her story. Since Masane's not super serious despite her great power, she's a more congenial character than her American Witchblade counterparts. Orchid Seed's upcoming Masane Amaha Bikini figure takes advantage of the heroine's ample attributes by dressing her in a tiny two-piece bikini that's doing double duty to contain Masane's pendulous impressiveness. The figure is sculpted to 1/7 scale and measures 23cm or 9.05" in height. Preorders are welcome to ship in late Dec 2009.

Witchblade: Tsuzuki Shiori 1/7 Scale Figure - Preorder

American comic book heroines don't generally find big audiences in Japan but Witchblade made the transition to the world of Japanese animation last year. Discarding the premise as well as the characters of the original storyline entirely, a new Witchblade universe was created for the Japanese market.

Amaha Masane is the Witchblade carrier in the Japanese animation series and she interacts with a number of characters including a cloneblade named Soho Reina and her full-bosomed secretary Tsuzuki Shiori. Despite looking somewhat innocuous, Tsuzuki is a bloodthirsty killing machine who proves to be a worthy adversary to Amaha. Orchid Seed recognizes Tsuzuki with a 1/7 scale PVC figure which measures 23cm (9.06") tall and is decked out in a flimsy 2-piece bikini. Two of Tsuzuki's physical attributes are highly exaggerated but we're guessing the largesse was intentional. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late March 2008.
