«©NCSX» We don't remember a whole lot about Terminator Salvation other than the kiss the convict got when he agreed to be a guinea pig at the beginning of the movie. Then he became a Terminator. Japanese manufacturer Omron/Furyu has started preorders for a 30cm "Real Arm Figure" that's inspired by Terminator Salvation. The arm is made of PVC so we're not sure how "real" it can be. Preorders ship in Dec 2009.

Terminator Salvation T-600 Skin Damage Ver. - Preorder

«©NCSX» Hot Toys has started preorders for a Terminator Salvation T-600 sculpture which stars a rag-covered robot that's definitely seen better days. The figure is from Hot Toys' Movie Masterpiece series which is the crème de la crème of mass produced movie toys. According to the promotional material that's been released thus far, the T-600 features 25 points of articulation which allow it to be posed in various postures and action stances. The T-600 is sculpted to 1/6 scale and measures 35cm or 13.77" tall with a firearm tethered to its right arm. The robot's outer clothing is in tatters which makes for a convincing battle-damaged look. In the Terminator Salvation movie, the T-600 is an infantry unit which can be covered by rubbery skin. Terminator Salvation Fuel Cell Lighter - Domestic Preorder

In post-apocalyptic 2018, Skynet prepares its army of Terminator's to destroy mankind. At the heart of each Terminator is a Nuclear Fuel Cell embedded in its chest. This lighter is a replica of the Terminator's Nuclear Fuel Cell, and also a fully functioning lighter! Made from chrome-plated, die-cast metal, each lighter measures 3 1/2" in overall length and is presented in a metal Terminator Salvation collector's box.

If this lighter ever makes it to Japan, we expect it to be priced at JPY5000 or approximately US$53 according to this morning yen/dollar conversion rate. Why you ask? Just because everything's more expensive in Japan and the savings of the citizenry must be exhausted somehow.

Terminator Salvation Timex - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Timex has started preorders for a limited edition Terminator Salvation Timex watch which is based on the "Ironman Triathlon 50-Lap Sleek" design. The styling features a snazzy black and silver color scheme with red trim and a dura-strength resin strap. The production of the watch is limited to only 1000 units and delivery is expected in mid-late May 2009 to dovetail with the launch of the movie on May 22, 2009.

The Terminator Salvation imprint is etched onto the top of the watch and on the back plating. Every watch is also serially numbered on the lower right corner of the back plating. Similar to other Ironman Triathlon watches from Timex, some features of the timepiece are as follows:

» 50-lap memory recall and 99-lap counter
» 100-hour chronograph with lap or split time display
» Water resistant to 100m with stainless steel top ring
