«©NCSX» Three disparate kingdoms rule the world of Efinea - Fendel, Strata, and Windol - all of which vie for supremacy over the other. In the land of Windol sits a city named Lhant which is governed by a lord named Aston Lhant. Aston's first-born is a lad named Asbel who goes off to become a knight but upon his father's death, returns home to rule the principality. Namco's latest Tales game follows the story of Asbel and a girl named Sophie who helps him fend off an attack perpetrated by troops from Fendel. The mysterious Sophie suffers from amnesia which is a regularly used plot device in Japanese video games since it adds intrigue to the character.

   Tales of Graces features the "Style Shift Linear Motion Battle System" which is just a convoluted way of saying "Slashing with two attack styles" where Asbel and company can switch between two types of combat skills. Namco touts Nintendo DS linkage where mini-games may be downloaded from the Tales software for portable play.

   Preorders for the lower-priced "Recommend Collection" re-release of Tales of Graces are welcome to ship on March 24, 2011 at JPY2800 or US$38.90 from NCS.

   Tales of Graces was originally released on the Nintendo Wii last year but an upgraded version is headed to the Playstation 3 on December 2. The PS3 edition includes an new scenario titled "History of the Future," upgraded visuals, alternate character costumes, and new techniques (Blast Calibers).

Early reservations will include a bonus Dramatic DVD and DLC code card that are being given away by Namco in 50% ratio.

Wii Tales of Graces - Namco Bandai Exchange Program

«©NCSX» Customers who've purchased the Japanese Wii Tales of Graces game from NCS may begin sending their discs in for exchange starting today. Bandai's Japanese website which details the bugs in the software may be viewed here. The recall is voluntary; if you're happy with the game and don't wish to participate, that's all good.

Wii Tales of Graces - Recall NBGI will be allowing purchasers of Tales of Graces (Wii) to exchange their game discs for bug-free replacements in the near future. An announcement was made last week but please note that final details are pending. NCS will be able to send the discs back to one of our agents in Japan to handle the exchange. We'll notify customers who have purchased the game by email once we have more information. Please note that there might be a nominal fee to cover shipping costs.

NEWS Another Spam Filter A new spam filtering program was installed on our PCs earlier this week and it seems to be working well. Over 1,000 Viagra ads have been blocked already along with roughly 600 penis enlargement solicitations. We missed out on a few promises of wealth from rich overseas benefactors who were anxious to deposit the sum of $7,000,000 into our bank accounts. Too bad, because that amount would have helped with inventory procurement whenever the Playstation 4 or Xbox 720 reaches market.
