PS3/PSV Pro Yakyu Spirits 2015 - Import Preorder

   The 2015 baseball season is still a few months away and Konami readies this year's edition of Pro Yakyu Spirits for the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita. New to the series is the "Live Purosupi" feature where the actual results of professional baseball games in Japan are delivered to the Pro Yakyu Spirits program so gamers can join in the pennant race.
 

   Preorders for the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita versions of the game are welcome to ship on March 26, 2015.

PSP Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2010 - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» Within a few years, baseball simulations will probably reach the point where they'll look like live broadcast television games. That's where players (unedited) spit on the ground, grab their crotches, and scratch their asses while waiting for the pitch or for that fly ball to start plummeting. Until that day comes however, Konami continues to refine and hone their baseball craft with the Pro Yakyuu Spirits series of games which feature realistic visuals, lifelike animations, comprehensive data for teams and players, and a variety of game modes for fans to explore.

Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2010 features updated 2010 season data and introduces the "Coach Advisory System" which gives players a comprehensive view of the onscreen action and stats/data. Konami also adds a new "Grand Prix" mode where players collect cards to create a team of superstars. Standard game modes that carry over from previous version of PYS include "Pennant Race," "Spirits," "Training," "VP Shop," and "Home Run Competition." Gamers can also access a "Utilities" section and create an original theme song for a team and manage players. The Playstation 3 version of the game will also allow players to download updated data and stats as the 2010 season commences. Please note the PSP and PS2 versions won't support the online download functionality found in the PS3 edition.

Exclusive to the PSP version of PYS2010 is an ad hoc communication mode which allows two players to link up and engage in a baseball game.

Well known in Japan but less so elsewhere, the latest edition of PYS shipped last week in Japan and features two new modes:
1) Manager Play Mode : Take a seat and tackle the part of team manager who calls the plays and gives instructions to the players via action cards. Perfect for passive gamers who prefer not to swing a bat or pitch a ball. By using sound judgment and baseball tactics, players get the manage a team from the start of the season to the pennant.
2) World Baseball Classic : Baseball is beloved around the world so 16 countries participate in the WBC including the United States, Mexico, South Korea, Canada, Japan, Italy, and more. The annual tournament is only in its second year in 2009 and in case you're wondering, Japan won the top honors earlier this year by beating South Korea 5-3.
Pro Yakyu Spirits 6 features fresh 2009 team data for all players, updated uniforms, and since the Hiroshima Carp have a new stadium this year, the game includes the spanking new Mazda Zoom Zoom Stadium. Konami also tapped former Chiba Lotte Marines pitcher Tomohiro "Johnny" Kuroki to provide commentary in the game.
