   The adorable One Piece Chibi-Arts series is becoming quite the serious collection. The popular Portgas D. Ace joins the series with a variety of accessory parts to create various scenes. Set includes three types of interchangeable face parts, interchangeable left/right leg parts, two sets of interchangeable arm parts, Whitebeard pirate flag, hat, backpack, and fire effect parts accessories.

«©NCSX» Banpresto has released a "limited edition" Portgas D. Ace prize figure that's generally only sold to amusement centers in Japan. We're citing the figure as "limited edition" because vendors are only allowed to purchase 1 carton from distributors.

   "What are prize figures?," someone might ask. You know those Japanese UFO catcher machines where saps players try to grab a slippery prize/toy/figure with a mechanical claw that's endowed with a loose grip? That's where the Super DX Portgas will be available in a few months. You could try to grab the Super DX Portgas D. Ace with a mechanical claw for an entire day and spend your week's wages to boot but NCS has a better way. Instead of loading Super DX Portgas into a UFO Catcher, NCS will just sell the figures to anyone interested in one. We'll grab Portgas straight from the manufacturer's cardboard boxes (packaged 12/carton) and ship them out.

   The fixed-pose figure measures 26cm or 10.23" tall and is made of PVC. Portgas is bare-chested but wears a pair of trunks and heavy boots. His trademark hat is present along with his cynical smile.

«©NCSX» Megahouse's previous plastic realization of Portgas D. Ace in the "Portrait of Pirates Neo-2" release rendered him upright like he was some kind of Southern gentlemen. Sure, there was a blazing flame emanating from his right hand but he had proper posture (for the most part) and he looked civil. Portgas is no gentleman. To make up for the lack of rowdiness in his previous P.O.P. figure, Megahouse is sculpting Portgas in a new kind of pose. He's a brawler this time around where he stands with legs wide apart and his left fist is coiled back like a cobra. A toothy and gritty sneer flashes across Portgas' face because he's bad and possibly dangerous. He might even be off the wall now that he's seemingly unhinged in his Portrait of Pirates Neo-DX incarnation.
