«©NCSX» Towards the end of the Dark Knight movie, Batman and the Joker have an interaction together where Bats saves Jokey from plunging to his death. The Joker speaks, "You just couldn't let me go, could you?" followed by, "I think you and I are destined to do this forever."
With those two lines of dialogue, NCS figured out that Batman and the Joker are soul mates. They were made for each other and they really will be doing "this" forever in comic books, movies, reboot movies, and revamps that will haunt generations to come. Right there with the Batman and Joker will be toys. Kubrick Toys. Lovely toys that depict Batman in full battle armor and the Joker in a tasteful jacket with warpaint over his devious mug. Each figure measures 6cm (2.36") tall and both toys are packaged together in a window-paned cardboard box. Preorders are welcome to ship in October 2010 at JPY2800 or US$33.90 from NCS.

«©NCSX» We've watched The Dark Knight on Blu-Ray at least 20 times. At least. Some of our neighbors on the same floor have watched it 21 times. They're weird like that. Hot Toys has probably watched the movie 22 times to get the detailing of their Dark Knight Movie Masterpiece DX figure down pat. Old "Bats" looks a little scrawny based on the product photo but we think the camera takes off at least 15 pounds. The Movie Masterpiece DX rendition of Batman measures 31cm or 11.81" tall. Hot on the heels of last week's Iron Man Cosbaby set, Hong Kong's Hot Toys has announced the Batman Cosbaby collection which features seven characters as follows:
Even though the upcoming Batman Kubrick toy makes the Gotham City crusader appear constipated, we're going to keep a set for our Kubrick collection. Batman measures 7cm or 2.75" in stature and is decked out in the new battle armor from the recent Dark Knight movie. 
Whereas the Batman is straight-laced and numbingly sober, the Joker is loosey-goosey. If he were candy, he'd be two packs of Twizzler. Jokey doesn't need libations to get the party started and you can always count on the former Arkham inmate to sport a big red smile. Medicom's upcoming Joker Kubrick measures 7cm or 2.75" in height and is dressed in a green vest that's covered by a purple trench coat. Thick eye shadow gives his face the raccoon look that Goth girls strive for while bright green hair provides a vibrant contrast to Joker's pallid complexion.
