For over 50 years, the "Volkswagen Type-2 Van" has been a popular
consumer vehicle not
only in Germany but also
in Japan. To celebrate
the retro majesty of the
T2, Toys Cabin presents
a set of four die-cast
gacha toys sold
exclusively in Japan.
Although the vans
feature a deformed
design sensibility, they
have a metallic finish
made with a plating
process, clear parts to
viewing inside the
vehicle, and a
reproduction of the
interior. Furthermore,
each toy van has a
pullback spring built in
which allows it to roll
forwards in rambling man
fashion. The four color
variations are:

» Yellow
» Blue
» Pink
Preorders are
welcome to ship in late
August 2021 for the
complete set of four VW
Vans. Although these
gashapon toys are
normally sold randomly
through dispensers in
Japan, NCS will gather
together all four
variants for general
sale.
