Kunio-kun and cohorts mosey on down to the Edo era of Japan where the boys wield swords and battle other bruisers in side scrolling battling action. Similar to other Downtown Nekketsu games, the cast of heroes are squat in shape but stout of heart as they fight across a myriad of landscapes. In the 'Battle Royale' mode of the game, up to four players can compete in a fisticuffs free-for-all while the 'Mission Mode' features targeted objectives to complete before moving on to the next mission.
Preorders are welcome to ship on or around May 28, 2015. Early preorders will ship with a bonus original soundtrack that is being given away by the publisher in 1:1 ratio.
