«©NCSX» When a machination is set in motion to awaken Dark Dragon, the ruler of the Dragonia Empire, the world is roiled by carnage and violent dragons. To make things right again, Soul Bladers are summoned into the fray whose special gift is the ability to transform spirit power into weapons known as 'Soul Blades.' One such Soul Blader is a red-haired lad named Reiji (Rage) who teams up with a siren named Lorelei who possesses the power of the 'Mana Song' which is integral to returning the power of spirits back to the world. The game features over 10 such songs which all have unique effects including health recovery, lowering enemy defenses, and bolstering the party's defenses.
The first printing of Shining Blade will ship with a bonus fan disk which includes a digital accessories collection for the PC and PSP, short cinemas of the cast of characters, and a sound gallery. The bonus was given away by the publisher in 50% ratio.
