 A Story Full of Character
 While the mainland of the Empire faces both conflict and the slow creep of the
 dying land, there is one region that continues to prosper - Lazulis Island.
 The key to the island's defences is a battery of mighty guns,
 which exude some strange magic that seems to draw monsters in.

 The young mercenary Zael, along with a band of fellow adventurers,
 comes to the island in the hope of finding more work. Their new employer is none
 other than the ruler of the island himself, Count Arganan. If they can meet the
 Count's expectations then there is some hope that their unstable mercenary existence could become a thing of the past. For Zael and his companions, who dream of a stable life as knights, this job represents a chance they may never get again.

 Then, during their exploration of a cave as part of their first mission,
 Zael obtains a mysterious new power...

    The Last Story Limited Edition bundle includes a copy of the game, a SteelBook™ storage case, The Premium Soundtrack CD and an art booklet entitled The Last Story: The Illustrations. As well as a stunning body of illustrations, this art booklet features written reflections on the game from director Hironobu Sakaguchi and concept artist Kimihiko Fujisaka. The Premium Soundtrack CD includes additional comments from Hironobu Sakaguchi and composer Nobuo Uematsu about the game's orchestral score, ensuring the Limited Edition version of The Last Story is crammed with exclusive content that fans won't want to miss.

    Please note PAL games are not compatible with vanilla NTSC Wii consoles with the latest firmware. However, if you have an older Wii with firmware 3.2U and below, you can use the Freeloader to boot The Last Story on a North American Wii console without issues.
