PSP Growlanser IV Overload - New Import
NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Atlus brings the PS2 release of Growlanser IV: The Wayfarer of Time back to the marketplace for the PSP. In addition to a name change to Growlanser IV Over Reloaded, the game is getting brand new characters, new scenarios, events, faster load times thanks to the ability to install the game to memory stick duo, and a message-skip option to speed up the game. The installation of the game to memory stick takes about 7 minutes and will take up 339 megabytes. Once installed, loading times are reduced to almost nothing.
The story in the game follows the adventures of a ginger-haired lad named Crevaniel who is an Arten Schwart mercenary hired to protect the island of Lamplast from attack. One night, enemies attack and the mercenaries hold off the assailants who are using a flame weapon. The mercenaries want to take the device for themselves but a counterattack forces the Arten Schwart to retreat to Marcuria. Before they left, Crevaniel and his captain Decsen witnessed the arrival of a six-winged angel in the sky which signals the return of a devastating force which destroyed human civilization 2000 years ago. Decsen decides to disband the Arten Schwart mercenary group and tells Crevaniel that he's the hope for humanity and that he must venture forward to stop the angels.
Growlanser IV Overload features a branching storyline and new routes in the game lead to different endings based on the player's decisions and actions during the course of the adventure. New love interests in the game also allow Crevaniel to explore a relationship with a special someone and even take a short vacation.
