Based on communications with Japanese vendors, all shipping has been halted since late Friday. There are no shipments going in or out at the moment but we'll update accordingly if the situation changes later in the week. We had shipments that were scheduled to ship to Tokyo today but we've been advised to hold everything until further notice.
Watching amateur footage over the weekend, we were struck at how polite and congenial the citizenry of Japan was as they were being evacuated. Despite the duress and adversity, the people were calm, gracious, and decorous.
