NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Wield the Wii Remote like a racquet and smack the protagonist Poko through colorful stages of block crushing action. At the outset of the game, rudimentary exercises teach players the ways and means of Remote whacking. What would we liken the play mechanics in Tataite Hazumu to so that simpletons can understand?
Well, it's tempting to say Arkanoid since the game derives its theme from that earlier franchise which was in turn derived from Breakout. Then again, breaking blocks is the only thing that Tataite shares with Arkanoid since there's no paddle and Poko is a self-contained one-ball-army. He zooms through the air, spins like a top, and can charge up so that he destroys layers of blocks in a single swoop. All of Poko's movements are controlled by jerking the Remote with curt controller movements which send him careening into walls. Did we mention that the stages scroll from left to right? Yeah, they do. It's fun, simple, and somewhat engaging. All copies of Tataite Hazumu are bundled with a bonus pink Wii Remote Controller Plus which is packaged with the game in a cardboard box.
