«©NCSX» Originally released for mobile-phones in the summer of 2009, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded is undergoing the remake treatment and will be playable on the Nintendo DS later this year. In the game, players take control of Sora who explores a Heartless-challenged Traverse Town which is in need of a fix. Since Sora and his keyblade are so versatile, he's been assigned the task of making things right in the embattled First District of Traverse Town and other worlds. King Mickey, Donald Duck, Goofy, Alice, and other Disneyland friends return in the role of supporting cast mates.
Since some gamers might need assistance during their travels through Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, a "Power of Friendship" guidebook is being published to coincide with the launch of the game. The book covers the seven worlds in the adventure from the first to the last and includes information on the game systems and how they work. Details on the bosses and attendant battles show gamers how to beat the bosses. A database of items, weapons, Keyblades, and more is also included so players can check out their stats and functions. A series of maps is also included which show the geography of re:coded. As an added bonus for buyers, an exclusive Kingdom Hearts Re:coded poster is attached to the book.
