Holidays The second Monday of every October is Columbus Day in the United States which celebrates the explorer who discovered the New World all the way back in 1492. The Postal Service is closed for business today but UPS and Fedex are fully operational. All orders with postal shipping received over the weekend will ship tomorrow. Over in Japan, everyone celebrated Taiiku no Hi (Health and Sports Day) today where citizens are supposed to enjoy and appreciate physical activities instead of just playing video games.
