«©NCSX» Bandai's Tamagotchi was a big deal in the mid 90s when the handheld game became a global phenomenon and introduced the world to virtual pets. Tamagotchi was a fad but it did engender a new form of entertainment. These days, the Tamagotchi occasionally appear in video games and the latest release is a television-related collection of mini-games.
Since television is all about characters and roles, the Tamagotchi may don various costumes to assume defined roles in their respective mini-games such as a pirate, a cook, a samurai, a psychic, firefighter, surfer, housemaid, and a mermaid from a cast of 36 possible characters.
Preorders for the Japanese NDS import Tamagotchi no Narikiri Channeru are welcome to ship on November 26, 2009 at JPY4800.
