NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» Wave recently started preorders for a Mari Makinami Illustrious figure (photo to the right) which featured the Evangelion handler in a green plug-suit and red-rimmed glasses. That's the type of spectacles that Elton John wears to show off his flamboyancy. Bandai has started preorders for their own rendition of Mari which is sculpted by KaNA (Heavy Gauge). In the new version, Mari is in a pink plug suit that's adorned with what appears to be racing stripes on the thigh area. Mari's still wearing those red-rimmed glasses and her facial expression is just as placid as the Wave sculpture. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late September 2009 at JPY6000 or US$70.90 from NCS.
