In Western society, the practice of counting imaginary sheep is one way to deal with insomnia. When the Sandman won't lull you into slumber, a procession of sprightly sheep leaping over a fence might do the job.
Counting sheep takes on a literal interpretation when Eikoh's upcoming Honyaradoh Oyasumi plush ships to market. Each sheep measures a massive 45cm or 17.71" in length and is blessed with a furry coat of fluffy synthetic wool. The sheep have their eyes closed which indicates that they're sleeping. They're also apparently encouraging insomniacs to do the same. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late December 2008 at US$38.90 per plush. Please choose from a blue or off-white colored sheep.
