Take a trip to the land of Arumia and adopt the role of a male or female Pokemon Ranger who has just graduated from Ranger school. At the outset of the game, players may choose a starter Pokemon partner from 17 available creatures including the mighty Gonbe (Munchlax), Naetle (Turtwig), Hikozaru (Chimchar), and Gureggru (Croagunk). For our game this morning, we chose the male character Hajime and eventually coupled him with a bird Pokemon named Mukkuru aka Starly.
As a newly inducted member of the Ranger Corps, players roam around Arumia and go on missions for the greater good while optional subquests may be taken on to help citizens in need of assistance. The rival force in Batonnage is a crew known as Team YamiYami. «Full Game Synopsis»
