Summer vacation is about to start and the hero of FFTA2 named Russo is rarin' to go. Just as he's leaving the classroom, his teacher punishes him for a previous infraction by sending him to the library. Russo wanders into the book-filled room but notices that the librarian isn't there. He decides to sit down at a table and flips open a tome. The pages are blank so he flips quickly through the pages in an effort to find something. As he twiddles through the pages, the objects in the room start to orbit around him and a strange dimensional slip occurs.
