We've never found a need for beverage holders or sleeves of any kind but we're sure that some people swear by them. The apparent purpose of such a sleeve is temperature maintenance in that a cold drink keeps chilled and a hot drink remains piping for inordinate amounts of time. Sort of like a thermal sweater of sorts.In keeping with today's Disney theme, Sega has started preorders for two beverage holders in the shape of Mickey and Minnie Mouse. The actual holder is a pouch that's sewn into the body of the figure which expands to hold a mug or cup securely in its confines and theoretically keep the drink at a certain temperature. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late August.
