TOYS Okami San: Ryoko Okami 1/7 Scale Figure - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» The heroine of the Okami San serial is a brunette named Ryoko Okami and she's a brawler. In the series, Ryoko battles her enemies with a pair of manacles which are called the "Neko Neko Knuckles."

   Japanese toy manufacturer Griffon is producing a Ryoko Okami figure which is based on the cover illustration for the Okamisan to Shchinin no Nakamatachi Vol. 2 Blu-Ray and DVD. The figure is sculpted to 1/7 scale and shows Ryoko lifting her left leg and resting it against an upright slab of brick wall. A pair of Neko straps may be seen tethered to her sash on the back. Is her pose remotely ladylike? Nope, but no one cares since it's Ryoko's world and she's going to live how she likes.    From Hobby Japan's 40th Anniversary Anime Project, the action anime 'Samurai Girls', comes yet another 1/8th scale figure following on from the previously released Jubei Yagyu - this time it's the transfer student to Buou Academy's - Kanetsugu Naoe!

   She has been posed holding her giant hammer behind her in a confident pose, with careful attention paid to all her trademark features such as the gourd handing down from her hips and the giant bells in her twin-tail hair! Her outfit is also removable giving you the option to display her in a much more revealing pose whenever you like. Preorders ship in December 2011.

X360 Phantom Breaker Limited Edition - New Import

Those three words once drew scorn from Street Fighter and Tekken adherents but the likes of Advanced Variable Geo on the original Playstation and Arcana Heartgave respectability to the category. 5pb's joining the fun by developing an original girl fighting game which features an all-female cast of archetypal fighters.

   Phantom Breaker is described as a simple fighting game with easy controls but sophisticated tactics. In other words, it's a game that beginners can pick up and play but has enough depth to draw in hardcore fighting game fans. Sounds like a keeper already. Ten fighters are selectable and each girl can choose to perform "quick" attacks or "hard" attacks during the character selection process. Quick smacks are fast and impact only a little damage while hard attacks can be countered by the opponent but do a lot more damage.

    In addition to the regular edition, a limited edition of Phantom Breaker is available for sale which includes a bonus Soundtrack CD and an alternate game jacket.

TOYS The IdolMaster Arcade Cabinet Toy - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Namco originally released Idolmaster to Japnaese arcades in 2005 and the game eventually made its way to the Xbox 360 and spawned a sequel. Japanese toy manufacturer Wave has started preorders for a 1/12 scale representation of the Idolmaster Arcade Cabinet which is being released under their "Memorial Game Collection" series of coin-op cabinet recreations. The cabinet is accompanied by props such as a seat and a collection of 10 different screen cards which may be slotted onto the cabinet's monitor.
