    Bandai has opened preorders for a Pokemon G.G.P. (Great Giant Pokémon) Nassy aka Alolan Exeggutor toy figure which measures 109cm or 42.91" tall when assembled. The figure is made of PVC and ABS and would serve as an imposing piece of decor that diverges from the staid wares at Walmart.

 Product Synopsis 

   1/72 scale kit of the "VF-1 Valkyrie" that Roy Focker flew in the movie "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Ai ombore ka? (Do You Remember Love?) The kit has been designed to match the 1/72 scale, based on the proportions and details of the 1/20 scale models released in the Minimum Factory series. The number of parts is kept to a minimum, but the details are expressed with a sense of intonation and density, so you can assemble the Valkyrie so quickly that you will want to assemble it again and again, and get a finished product packed with the charm of the Valkyrie.

   The joints between parts have been set to be as inconspicuous as possible, and the glue joints have been carefully placed so that each unit fits tightly into position, allowing the parts to be firmly positioned and angled, resulting in a model with an extremely rigid feel after completion. The model also has many highlights as a plastic model airplane kit, such as a mold design with no parting lines while reproducing the bubble canopy, and a leg compartment configuration that can be replaced to show the open and closed states of the canopy. The head of the S-type is included, and a pilot in a high-resolution seated posture is also included despite the 1/72 scale. Each part is molded in four colors, so simply assemble and apply stickers and decals for a realistic finish.

The fruit of their labor was dubbed Tobal No. 1, a 3-D polygon-based fighting game which ran at a fluid 60 fps. Akira Toriyama of DBZ fame designed the characters with his distinctive style and flair and eight combatants fought for supremacy against an otherworldly backdrop...

Twenty years later, NCS digs the game up again from the bowels of warehousing. All stock is in new, mint condition and the game is the first print Japanese edition which includes a second CD which previews Final Fantasy VII. Although not a big deal today, the inclusion of the FFVII demo was a major selling point back in the day.

 «©NCSX» Namco tries their hand at an on-rails shooter and creates a sweeping galactic action game with cinematic scope and flourish. An alien force is on the hunt and its up to four gunners to man their mounted laser cannons and shoot at everything that courses through the ether of space. In the arcade, Galaxian 3 allowed up to six players to shoot and dump bags of quarters into the machine. Since the Playstation multi-tap only has four slots, Namco had to adjust the player participation down to four gamers at a time.
 
    Two missions are included in Galaxian 3 as follows: Project Dragoon which uses broad polygon graphics to convey the action and The Rising of Gourb which is more sophisticated with cinematic flourish and orchestral music. Both missions play a game of "on rails" shooting where the player's ship flies on automatic pilot and all one is charged with is the targeting and shooting of flying enemy ships and massive mother ships. The game presents a dramatic and somewhat intimidating space opera/drama/epic where it feels like one is part of a grand scheme to rid the galaxy of an evil force.
 
    Excellent players with eagle-eyed shooting skills will help to reduce the amount of enemy fire that the ship takes but poor shooters will eventually suffer along with a damaged vessel that eventually succumbs to the rigors of enemy attacks.
 
    Four players may join in the fun, provided a multi-tap is present, but lonesome hawks may shoot with a computer-controlled gunner who offers support. Perform in stellar fashion and a better computer player becomes available as a sidekick.
 
    New options in the Playstation game include the option of varying the power of your gunner's laser fire, different difficulty levels, and the ability to save high scores to memory card.
