SOTW PC-Engine XHE-3 MSX Controller Adapter - Clearance

NCS Sale of the Week Offering: February 15, 2010
Original Release in Japan: March 16, 1995
«©NCSX» Brand new and factory boxed XHE-3 MSX Controller Adapter for the PC-Engine which allows MSX joysticks and joypads to be used with the PC-Engine. Micomsoft produced a lineup of MSX controllers which were fairly popular back in the day. Instead of manufacturing a separate lineup of controllers for the PC-Engine, Micomsoft introduced the XHE-3 Adapter which bridged the MSX and PC-Engine so owners of both platforms could use a single controller on either one. The packaging lists compatibility with the Micomsoft XE-1PRO, XE-1ST2, and XE-1AP but any standard MSX controller can be used. Further, please note that Mega-Drive controllers are not fully compatible - the "B" button is not mapped but "A" and "C" work. .
Product Condition
NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory boxed in the original cardboard container. The condition of the packaging is in good structural shape but please note that there are visible signs of wear and weathering caused by decades of storage. The adapters inside are however in pristine and shiny condition.
Sale Offering
Pricing per XHE-3 Adapter is set at US$30.90 each. If you reside in the USA, NCS recommends USPS Priority shipping for the most economical domestic service. Please click on the Postal link below the UPS shipping options to display Postal shipping rates. Thanks.

PSP Knights In The Nightmare - Import Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» In Sting's Knights in the Nightmare S-RPG, players take control of a discarnate spirit known as a "Wisp" who guides a battalion of knights by taking over their bodies and bending them to its will. By commanding the knights thusly, skirmishes are fought against opposing forces on isometric grid-based battlefields.
Similar in style to other S-RPGs, the game is broken up into missions where objectives are presented along with a snippet of storyline. As missions are conquered, the Wisp and party level up in experience and are given the opportunity to improve weapons and items by utilizing material collected from the battlefield. Party members may also transfer vitality to compatriots in a process dubbed "Tran-Soul." Although the text in the game is primarily in Japanese, the speech is entirely English.
The upcoming PSP conversion of Nights in the Nightmare features updated graphics and sound along with a brand new "Talk Collection" where characters in the game give backstory through dialogue sequences. The PSP game will also include a brand new cinematic introduction. Preorders are welcome to ship on April 22, 2010 at JPY3800 or US$43.90 from NCS.
