«©NCSX» Donkey Kong gallops into action in an innovative platform game where simian control is entirely through the Taru-Konga drum controller. The controls are as follows:

» Smack left drum: Donkey Kong moves left
» Smack right drum: Donkey Kong steps right
» Smack both drums: DK jumps
» Clap: DK mimics your clap to create a sonic boom

To send Donkey Kong to the left, smack the left drum. Donkey Kong moves to the right when the right drum is hit. When a ledge beckons above, the big ape may scale that distance by jumping when both drums are pounded at the same time. Since every ape needs a snappy skill, Nintendo has given DK a clap move where banana-sized fingers create a sonic boom when the player claps two hands together. Kong will also engage in fights from time to time and the drums are used to throw out left hooks and right jabs by hitting the left or right drum. The fighting puts the term "Jungle Beat" in a new light. Clapping makes DK bob and weave like a champ. The bongo controller may also be used with Donkey Konga and Donkey Konga 2. Metal Gear Solid 2 Bande Dessinee - Restock All backorders and recent orders for Konami's MGS2 BD DVD were shipped out yesterday. The first production of the DVD features a metal case which holds the two DVDs inside. New orders are welcome.

Indiana Jones Towels - Update 11:38AM EST A shipment of Indy towels arrived too late in the morning to update for today but we'll post photos and information on Monday.

Super Mario Stadium - Game Notes We've updated game notes for Nintendo's latest Mario-themed baseball game. Players may choose a team captain from twelve available characters such as Koopa (aka Bowser), Mario, Daisy, Peach, Wario, and more. The Wii Remote batting mechanics are fairly intuitive although practice is definitely needed to swing in such a way to connect with a pitch.

Transformers Henkei! C-01 Convoy - In Stock

Classic Transformers are revived in Takara's Transformers Henkei collection of toys which were released in March of this year. Due to a really late shipment on a really slow boat, NCS received our consignment today.

The first toy in the Henkei series is Convoy who leads the Cybertrons and is colored bright red on top and navy blue below. True to his Transformers namesake, Convoy may change from full-figured robot to trailer cab. A laser rifle and a blaster gun are also included.

Megatron's role in the Transformers universe is to be wicked foil to Convoy's noble and righteous nature. In his Henkei turn, Mega hearkens back to Generation 1 and may transform from two-legged robot to one-handled pulse cannon with a targeting scope on top. When it comes to sales, Convoy usually leads with Megatron close behind..

Classic Transformers are revived in Takara's Transformers Henkei collection of toys.
Remember the slick, shiny, and snazzy Bumblebee that was in the Transformers live-action movie? Fuggedaboutit. Henkei Bumblebee is all about being clunky, chunky, and matte yellow. New school types might not appreciate Generation 1 Bumblebee but NCS has love for him. In vehicle mode, a little 2-wheel trailer may be linked to 'Bee so he can be like Convoy.

Classic Transformers are revived in Takara's Transformers Henkei collection of toys.
Starscream was second in command of the Destrons to Megatron... and caused himself a heap of trouble when he tried to usurp the Big Man's authority. In his Henkei release, Starscreams's most prominent features are the arm-mounted cannons which poke out prodigiously in both robot and jetfighter mode.

Transformers Henkei! C-03 Grimlock - In Stock

Classic Transformers are revived in Takara's Transformers Henkei collection of toys.
Grimlock is one of three Dinobots designed by the Autobots named Wheeljack and Ratchet. Modeled after some dinosaur fossils, Grimlock transforms from humanoid robot to Tyrannosaurus Rex which hefts a cannon on its back. Grimlock's other notable feature is a detachable serrated tail (white with gold trim) which may be used as a sort of pointy weapon when Grim is in robot form.
