Bokura wa Kasekihorida - Preorder Import

Take control of a dinosaur hunter who travels to a remote island and digs deep into the Earth to excavate fossils. The NDS stylus is used as a sort of drill to swat away dirt and rocks to get at the bones below. Once all the parts of a dinosaur are recovered, you'll have to clean them within a certain time limit and then assemble the skeleton together to bring the beast back to life. Soon after the monster is alive and kicking, yoke it into battle and pit it against competing monsters. Over 100 types of dinosaurs are featured in the game but we're assuming some are based on fantasy because they're colored bright red. Preorders ship on April 17, 2008.

One Piece: Tony Tony Chopper Plush - Clearance Sale

Prior to joining the crew of the Straw Hat Pirates, Chopper was an outcast reindeer who was shunned by his kind because of the blue proboscis that poked out of his face. Confronted with a lonely existence, the Fates intervened when Chopper gobbled up the Hito Hito Fruit and became human-like in his thinking, mannerisms, and goofy antics. Newly empowered with cognition, Chopper joins Luffy's gang and serves as the Jolly's Roger's on-board physician.

The One Piece franchise is a merchandising superstar thanks to its cast of likable characters. Banpresto played a big part in creating toys and plushes for an eager market. Today's sale offering is but one cog in the monstrosity that is the One Piece merchandising machine. The DX Chopper plush measures 10" tall and is thick. Like a ham hock.

NCS Sale Offering
Pricing per DX Chopper Plush is set at US$12.90 which includes free shipping by USPS Media Mail. Inventory is new and ships wrapped in plastic which is then packed in a sturdy cardboard box. [Larger photos]

XL Nakayoshi Okinarako Plush Toy - Preorder Import

When a sea otter gets a yearning for some shellfish, it swims to the bottom of a body of water and nabs a hapless clam or mussel from its comfy resting spot. Once the rodent resurfaces, the otter flips over on its back and proceeds to pound the shellfish with a rock to break its guards.

Taito recreates an otter's mealtime with the XL Nakayoshi Okinarako plush which depicts a furry creature on its back while all of its appendages are used to grasp a clam. There's no rock to be seen but may these otters can pick open shellfish with their claws. Each plush measures 57cm or 22.40" in length. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late June 2008.

Dead or Alive 4 Slipcase - Clearance

When the first production of Dead or Alive 4 shipped to the Japanese marketplace on January 5, 2006, the game was packaged in a laminated slipcase. The front of the case depicts a steely-eyed Kasumi while the back of the game shows off Ayane.

The DOA 4 slipcase on offer today is from surplus stock and the cases are in shiny and mint condition. If you have a copy of Dead or Alive 4 or any other DVD-size game, you can slip it into the case and use it as a sort of protective sheath. Since the surface of the cardboard is laminated and treated, it should last for a few decades without losing its shiny patina. NCS generally recommends storing collectible items in mylar, which is inert and won't react with whatever is stored in its protective confines..

NCS Sale Offering
Pricing per DOA4 slipcase is set at US$12.90 which includes free shipping by USPS Media Mail. Inventory is new and ships in a plastic wrapper which is then packed in a sturdy cardboard box. [Larger photos]
