PSP Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd - New Import Restock Soon

«©NCSX» Hatsune Miku makes a triumphant return to the PSP in a second Project Diva which features more rhythm action, new music, and a duet feature where two performers dance and sing simultaneously. Similar to the first Project Diva, players watch the flying cues on screen and tap the appropriate face buttons as the cues hit their targets. New costumes and game modes also bolster the Diva 2nd experience. An Edit Mode gives creative gamer the tools to create their own songs and share them. Similar to the original Project Diva, the difficulty levels include "Easy" which only uses one button, "Normal" which features two-button play, "Hard" which requires the use of all four face buttons, and a new difficulty level dubbed "Extreme" which should only be tested by skilled PSP handlers. PSP Jigen Kairou - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» Sony's Mugen Kairou was released last year on the PSP and the game featured 3D spatial manipulation of levels to create passages and new realities for the onscreen walkers. The sequel to the game titled Jigen Kairou is a 2D platform puzzle game where players hit switches to activate platforms, interact with in-game objects, and manipulate obstacles to gain passage. Similar to the original Kairou, simple line-drawings are used to represent the stages and the characters that walk and run onscreen. The main actor in the game is accompanied by "echoes" which are helper characters who can toggle switches or perform various tasks to assist the lead actor in his journey through the world of echochrome.

The music and sound effects in the game possess the same haunting lilt and echo effect as the original "Kairou" which jibes well with the stark presentation of the stages. In the first level (A1), players have to toggle two switches to build "bridges" to reach the exit. Stage A2 isn't much more complicated but adds the task of removing obstacles to reach the exit. There's a little surprise at the end of Stage A2 before the protagonist is allowed to leave but additional surprises may be encountered throughout the game. As players conquer the early levels, later stages progressively ramp up in difficulty with new challenges that require thought and proper manipulation of switches, items, and other obstacles shown on each stage. After successfully completely a level, you're given the option of replaying in case you're interested in improving upon any mistakes or mishaps that occurred during your initial performance.

PSP Darius Burst - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Taito gave birth to Darius back in 1986 with a coin-op shoot 'em up that used three television screens to seamlessly portray the expansive scrolling action. It was a really wide screen. Twenty three years later, Taito's owned by Square Enix and they're giving the Darius franchise another go with Darius Burst on the widescreen aspect of the PSP.
Darius Burst is a brand new shooter which stays true to the conventions of the series with pick-up power-ups, large end-level bosses, and the familiar stage selection tree. A new ultimate attack dubbed "Burst" is also featured in the game which can be used to confront mega-mighty blasts from bosses. Preorders are welcome to ship on December 24, 2009.

PSP Metal Slug XX - Japan Import Preorder

«©NCSX» SNK's Metal Slug 7 was released in the summer of 2008 for the Nintendo DS and one year later, SNK re-releases it on the Playstation Portable with a few new features for added value. Six army grunts are featured in the game including Slug stalwarts such as Marco and Eri. Ralf Jones and Clarke Still from the King of Fighters are also in the cast. Similar to the previous Metal Slug releases, the soldiers run from left to right across seven horizontally scrolling battlefield stages and shoot, jump, and lob bombs at enemy forces. The end of each level is blocked by a boss which is generally challenging.
New features in the PSP release include a large collection of mini-games and ad-hoc cooperative play so gamers can link up and blast away like a two-person army corps. According to SNK's preorder solicitation, a pair of Metal Slug blue-striped boxers will be given away to early preorders in 50% ratio. This means that if we preorder 100 copies of the game, we'll only receive 50 pairs of boxers which we'll give away to the first 50 preorders.

PSP Armored Core: Silent Line Portable - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» After the claustrophobic underground existence found in Armored Core 3, human civilization moves back to the surface world to rebuild. Instantly returning to their old rivalries, the ruling corporations comprised of Crest, Mirage, and Kisaragi all vie again for control and set upon each other with mechanical mercenaries called Ravens.

Players take on the role of a Raven who serves as an agent of the powers that be. Ravens accept jobs as they are doled out and strike out on action-packed missions against rival corporations. To customize the mechs, a garage features 452 available parts to boost your Raven's fighting performance and battlefield efficiency. A total of 34 missions are available along with an Arena Mode where Ravens battle each other to determine primacy in the Raven Corps food chain.

Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 3 - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» Disaster strikes an urban metropolis once again and it's up to an average teenager to make his/her way through the carnage in order to help hapless citizens, avoid perils, put out a few fires, and become an unlikely hero. The two main characters in the third Zettai Zetsumei Toshi game are Naoki Kousaka (boy) and Saki Honjou (girl). Either character may be selected as the protagonist at the outset of the game. The two heroes arrive at the day of disaster in different ways per their respective stories. For example, Naoki's riding inside a Toshi kanko bus when the earthquake hits which jostles the vehicle something fierce and throws everyone inside around. After recovering, Naoki's adventure begins amidst ruined cars, crumbling infrastructure, and imminent danger. During the adventure, secondary shocks and tremors reverberate through the city which causes the screen to shake and shudder for an added visual effect.

The PSP game features wireless multiplayer cooperative play where up to four heroes can join together and rescue folks like a heroic gang. Some tasks in the game can only be accomplished by more than one hero - for example, some items can only be lifted by two people and locked vehicles can only be moved towards a destination by a pair of pushers.

Early preorders will include a bonus pair of ZZT3 bud earphones in 50% ratio which are packed in a cardboard box that looks like a Gameboy Advance cartridge container.

The setting is Seisou High School where Kahoko organizes a musical ensemble to participate in a concert. Since she's the leader of the group, Kahoko has to prepare for new performances, decide the number of songs to play in each concert, arrange practice sessions, and configure the instruments for each song. In addition to her activities with the ensemble, Kahoko also engages in school activities, participates in festivals, and interacts with fellow students in class and during lunch.
Originally released on the PS2 in 2007, Koei adapts and upgrades the game for the PSP with new events and new characters. The seasons also change during the course of the adventure and each season is accompanied by different types of clothes that the characters wear. DJ Max Portable Black Square - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» A few weeks ago, Pentavision released DJ Max Clazziquai Edition which featured the musical stylings of Korean music group Clazziquai which is made up of DJ Clazzi, Alex Chu, and Horan Choi. Whereas the Clazziquai Edition was designed for amateurs and average players, the Black Square Edition is targeted at "professionals" capable of tackling cues by smashing out inputs like a rhythm maniac. To this end, an 8-button mode is featured in the aptly named Professional Mode which Pentavision describes as "Crazy mix by using 8 buttons." In the OPTION menu, players may customize the buttons for 4B, 5B, 6B, 4BFX, and 6BFX to suit your preference. Once the game boots up, you'll be able to choose the language from Korean, English, or Chinese. True to form, the game is challenging with a smattering of cues that rain down with nonstop force and frequency.

Songs in the game include "I want you" by Lin G, "Sweet Shining Shooting Star" from Croove, "Heart of Witch" by ReX, and "Landscape" from Tsukasa. The game modes are as follows: Club Tour, Arcade Black Square, Network Battle, Collection, Link Disc, and Album. The Link Disc function allows gamers to use tracks from the earlier DJ Max Portable games and the Album contains 16 tracks at the outset that may be played along with their respective videos. The Collection section collates assorted unlocked data such as Club Tour Emblems, Images, Movies, and the Internet Ranking Service.

Tenchu 4 - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Rikimaru and Ayame are back as stealth assassins who skulk in dark places and attack with sword slashes and one-hit killing blows. Tenchu 4 emphasizes the use of stealth and the game provides a bevy of shadowy places to hide, wait, and attack from. The environments are darkly lit which also attend to a ninja's need for stealth. Unsuspecting enemies who approach Rikimaru's general vicinity but are unaware of his presence may be killed with a single killing stroke.
Tenchu's original developer Acquire returns to the franchise that they built and Tenchu 4 was recently released on the Nintendo Wii. The port to the Playstation Portable takes away the Wii Remote functionality but the ninja skulking experience should remain the same. Preorders ship on Feb 12.

Oretachi no Survival Game Portable - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Do you enjoy playing airsoft-gun-armed-soldier in a forest with like-minded grunts? If so, you might get a kick out of Oretachi no Survival Game Portable which is an airsoft-gun-armed-soldier simulator for the Playstation Portable. Equipment from Tokyo Marui Company, which is the largest Japanese manufacturer of airsoft gun hardware, is featured in the game for "soldiers" to utilize.

Numerous types of battlefields, combat costumes, gun hardware, and assorted equipment allow players to recreate their dream scenario for airsoft gun skirmishes. The ad hoc mode allows up to four players to engage each other with a single UMD. The publisher hired professional voice actors including Kiyoshi Kobayashi (he played Daisuke Jigen of Lupin fame) and Ohara Sayaka (recently, Milly Ashford in Code Geass) to provide speech for the game... we're guessing to amp up the excitement level with harried voices tinged with fear. Dissidia Final Fantasy Limited Edition Bundle - Preorder

Preorders are welcome for the Dissidia Final Fantasy Limited Edition Bundle which is scheduled to ship on December 18, 2008. Based on what Japanese vendors have told us, Square Enix will only apportion a small quantity of the bundle to general distribution and it'll basically be a first-come, first served arrangement. Although the bundle is very limited in quantity, it is not
as limited as previously reported elsewhere with regards to the purported lottery system. NCS was able to confirm a few dozen units for our own inventory with suppliers in Japan.

We've already submitted our preorder quantity over the weekend and have a fairly good idea of how many we'll be allowed to import. Square Enix has not released any photos of the Dissidia PSP yet but we know it'll be a PSP-3000 and we're guessing that the handheld will be colored silver with some sort of Final Fantasy artwork on the back. NCS will post photos and additional details once they're made available. Due to the special arrangements and additional cost required to secure the Dissidia PSP bundles, pricing is set at US$369 + shipping. NCS expects delivery on December 18, 2008 and preorders will ship at that time. If there are any changes to the offer, we will update accordingly and notify customers.

Katekyoo Hitman Reborn! Battle Arena - New, Restock Soon

In episode #74 of the Hitman Reborn animated serial, both Reborn and Tsuna are shot by Lambo's "Ten Year Bazooka" and are sent one decade into the future. The incident kicked off the "Future Arc" where the two unlikely gangland heroes dealt with their unusual predicament, handled assorted drama, and contended with the Millefiore Family. The PSP Hitman Reborn Battle Arena game features a brand new story set within the Future Arc where Tsuna and other characters from the series battle each other in 2D fighting action.

The cast of Hitman Reborn! fight with conventional attacks as well as their individual special skills. The game runs quick and smooth with fighters who move with slick animation. Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada is the hero of the animated series but the game features a cast of the major players in the "Future Arc". We found it interesting that Tsuna has a heels-over-head backflip-kick move that's similar to what Sarah Bryant does in Virtua Fighter. The other fighters in the game can perform forward-running punches, fireball throws, and a dragon-esque punch.

In addition to the usual cast, a unique fighter may be created from over 1000 parts from the default characters such as Tsuna, Kyoya Hibari, Hayato Gokudera, Xanxus, Chrome Dokuro, and more. The ad hoc mode allows two players to fight against each other in a Versus Mode in case the COM-controlled combatants aren't up to your level of competency.
