Taito has started preorders for two Sackboy plush toys which are expected to ship in late November and early December.

1) Little Big Planet - Mini Knit Sackboy Mascot - Price: US$12.18 each.
If you look at the top of the sales sheet shown to the left, you'll see four Sackboy plushes with straps tethered to the top of their heads. These are the "Mini Knit Sackboy Mascots" which are available in four styles as follows: Normal Sackboy, Soldier Sackboy, Pirate Sackboy, and Smile Sackboy. Each mascot measures 10cm or 3.93" in height and is made of plushy brown material that's soft to the touch. Preorders are welcome to ship in late Nov 2008 at $12.18 with free shipping by Media Mail in the US.

2) Little Big Planet - Large Knit Sackboy Plush - Price: $22.90 each.

The middle of the sales sheet shown to the left features two Sackboy plushes that are considerably larger than the aforementioned mascots. On the left is Normal Sackboy who's in a seated position and Pirate Sackboy (with a hook for a hand) who sits on the right. Each Sackboy toy measures 25cm or 9.84" tall and is made of the same plushy brown material that the mascots are constructed of. Preorders will ship in early Dec 2008.

Ikkitousen Kanu Unchou by Daiki Kogyou - Preorder

We're admittedly apathetic towards pretty much any Kanu Unchou figure that's headed our way over the next few months. We have approximately 30 of them in our private collection that have been accumulated over the past few years and we don't want any more.

That is, until we saw Daiki Kogyou's stunning rendition of Kanu as a Shinto shrine maiden in the vein of Koyori (aka Miko) of Sengoku Ace/Cannon fame. The upcoming figure is sculpted to 1/6 scale and measures 28cm or 11.02" tall. Kanu wears a traditional red hakama (skirt) and tabi on her feet. Shrine maiden normally wear a white kimono shirt with fluttering sleeves but this is Kanu. She slings the kimono shirt on her back and braves the world wearing only white bandages which cover her bosom.

Kanu is armed with the legendary Blue Dragon Crescent Spear and a wooden base is included for display purposes. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late Dec 2008 at JPY16590 or US$178.90 from NCS. «Photos»

Jibril Zero 1/8 Scale PVC Figure - Japan Preorder

Jibril Zero looks like a lil' angel of a girl with gossamer wings and a halo. But she's not an angel nor a girl. Zero's actually a computer program known as the New Angelic Gaia Interface (N.A.G.I.) which incarnates in the form of a modern day cherub.

Jibril Zero hails from the Makai Tenshi Jibril franchise and Alter has seen fit to rend her into a seemingly airborne figure who's held aloft by a metal brace. Hajime Kouzuki provides the sculpture which is set to 1/8 scale and measures 17cm or 6.69" tall.

Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late November 2008 at JPY6800 or US$69.90 from NCS. The first production of the figure will include a bonus Jibril Zero trading card.
