Infinite Space (Mugen Kouro 無限航路) - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» The galaxy is a vast expanse and a white-haired lad named Yuri gets to explore it in a space cruiser of his very own. Along his travels, he'll meet up with over 200 different denizens and their respective dramas who are all human. There's no such thing as a creature cantina in Infinite Space. Eventually, Yuri gets himself involved in a galactic war between powerful factions where he'll lead an armada of battleships arrayed against similarly appointed armadas.

Sega's Infinite Space is an RPG which takes the protagonist Yuri on interactive sequences, space battles, and stints in customization where his battleship is fitted with better weapons and armor. The previews we've watched from Sega show that the game pushes polygons to depict the ships coursing through the ether and appears to be fairly CPU intensive. Preorders are welcome to ship on June 11, 2009 at JPY5238 or US$53.90.

Majyo ni Naru (魔女になる) - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» A munchkin-ish blue-haired teenager named Bitsute and her ginger-haired witch pal Daniya are partners in an adventure game which follows Bitsute's progression from magic tyro to mighty witch. According to the story, little Bitsu has always dreamt of becoming a witch and going on flying witch adventures but she lives with grandma who's impoverished and can't afford the tuition to send her to magic school.

One day, destiny smiles upon Bitsute when she runs into a gal named Daniya who imparts some magical powers upon her. With newfound skills and abilities, Bitsute take on odd jobs and other tasks from the townfolk. More importantly however, she can now go on flying witch adventures and zoom through the air on her traditional magical broom. Preorders are welcome to ship on June 11, 2009 at JPY4800 or US$50.90 from NCS.

Aibou: Sugishita Ukyo Kubrick & Bearbrick - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» In the Aibou Japanese television drama which aired weekly on TV Asahi, actor Mizutani Yutaka plays a police chief named Sugishita Ukyo. He heads the Special Mission Task Team which is an investigative squad located within the Metropolitan Police Department. In the televised serial, Sugishita partners up with an officer played by Terawaki Yasufumi to solve cases. Season 7 of the popular drama concluded last month which saw Terawaki's character depart from the series to be replaced by actor Mitsuhiro Oikawa.

Medicom marks the seventh season of Aibou with a Kubrick & Bearbrick set which features the Sugishita character wearing a blue shirt, a yellow tie, and red suspenders. A black Bearbrick toy is also included in the package which features the television series logo and Season 7 painted across its chest. The figures measure roughly 7cm (2.75") tall and preorders are welcome to ship in late August 2009 at JPY2500 or US$28.90 from NCS.

Yakin Byoutou 1/7 Scale Ren Nanase - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» The depths of human depravity were plumbed in the Yakin Byoutou animated series which took viewers into the hallways and rooms of Saint Juliana Hospital. Therein, a doctor named Ryuji Hirasaka plied his wicked trade of abusing nurses in unthinkable ways and positions. When Ryuiji first meets Ren Nanase, she's picking flowers and he starts a conversation with her. While she's talking about flowers, Ryuji's mind wanders into perverse situations where Ren's honor is sorely compromised.

Toy figures featuring Ren are released occasionally in Japan to sell-out performances and a manufacturer named Solid Theater has started reservations for a 1/7 scale Ren Nanase diorama which measures 12cm or 4.72" tall. The pink-garbed nurse is on her knees while a bottle of cleaning liquid has tipped over and oozes its contents onto the floor. A wash basin may be seen behind Ren while her slippers are strewn haphazardly near her feet. We're thinking her washing routine got interrupted by a certain doctor. Preorders are welcome to ship in late June 2009 at JPY8000 or US$88.90.

General Updates

X360 Death Smiles Limited Edition
Our primarily Japanese supplier hinted at shortages of Death Smiles LE a couple of days after preorders closed in February but the shortage was confirmed by two more dealers a few days ago. We've sent out notifications to customers already to alert everyone. Please note that there appears to be a 95% shortage of the game. For example, every 100 copies that were preordered will be allocated 5 copies. We don't understand it since one reason for selling something is to make an effort to fill demand. Please note that we won't know the exact quantity we'll receive until April 20 or thereabouts when our invoices are printed and faxed over from Japan.
PS3 Demon's Souls Asian
Please note that the sixth shipment of Demon's Souls has not been dispatched from Hong Kong yet. Last Saturday was a holiday in H.K. (The Ching Ming festival where citizens pay respects to their ancestors) and nothing was shipped. We're waiting for an update and we'll post again once the shipment has been sent. On a related note, we're receiving requests for Demon's Souls restock from vendors and shops located in Hong Kong which is odd... since we're importing the game from their hometown of Hong Kong.

Sega Saturn Fighting Commander SS Joypad - Clearance

NCS Sale Offering: April 06, 2009
«©NCSX»
New and factory boxed Sega Saturn Fighting Commander SS Joypad which NCS originally stocked during the heyday of Sega's 16-bit gaming console. Hori designed the Fighting Commander to mimic the basic shape of the original Sega Saturn controller which we still consider to be one of the best for general gaming. NCS' remaining inventory is brand new but please note that the factory boxes have slight imperfections on the cardboard such as dings, creases, or minor color wear due to nearly 15 years in warehouse storage.
The Fighting Commander SS features turbo-fire switches for every button which toggles between two gradations of firing speed. There's also a slow-motion button located on the joypad but we've never used it - never needed to.
Please note that the Fighting Commander is a Japanese product and the packaging is in Japanese but it is compatible with all versions of the Sega Saturn, V-Saturn, and Hi-Saturn console hardware.

Sale Offering:
Pricing is set at US$18.90 per
Fighting Commander SS. If you reside in the USA, you may select USPS Media Mail shipping on our shop which is about $2.50. International customers are encouraged to select USPS First Class Airmail at a cost of approximately US$10.
