   The original Stormtrooper armor as seen in the Star Wars movies enjoyed a clean and simple aesthetic that was free from contrivances. In Square Enix's Variant Play Arts re-imagining of the Stormtrooper, there's a lot more complication as the armor undergoes the addition of contrived reticulation. Similar to other Play Arts figures, the new Stormtrooper is packaged with extra hands, a blaster pistol, a blaster rifle, and a muzzle flash prop to simulate the firing of a weapon.

    The protagonist, Kasuga Tamaki, returns to her mother's family home in the mountains, where her grandmother lives, due to her parents being transferred overseas.
 
    After arriving in the village, Tamaki sees strange creatures that only she can see. When Tamaki is attacked by them, she is saved by a mysterious boy named Onisaka Takuma.
 
    Afterwards, her grandmother reveals a family secret to her. "You must seal Onikirimaru. As the heir to Tamayori's bloodline. That's why I called you."
 
    Mission as Tamayorihime
 
    Now that the seal on the sword Onikirimaru, said to bring an end to this world, begins to break for the first time in decades, her task is to seal it once again...
