TOYS Oboro Muramasa: Momohime 1/6 Scale Import Preorder

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» In the Oboro Muramasa game, a kunoichi named Momohime and a ninja named Kisuke were the agents of destruction in a side scrolling platform action game. Momohime had style, speed, and deft sword handling skills which she used to chop down flighty ninja foes. Kisuke was cool too but Momohime cut a more presentable silhouette.
Alter pays homage to Momohime with a pretty 1/6 scale figure which measures 21cm or 8.26" tall. Momo's color scheme mixes pink and blue with two stalks of fuchsia which cover her lower legs. We're somewhat leery of the one-foot-pose because some of our Alter figures on display have a tendency to lean and falter to the effects of gravity. To prevent leaning, our Momohime figure might be supported by clear-plastic braces if we decide to display her on office shelving. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late August 2010 at JPY7800 or US$86.90 from NCS.

TOYS figma Fate/Stay Night Saber Oruta - Import Preorder

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Saber looks better when she's decked out in her default blue armor but when it's time to get dark, Saber dresses up in a deep-purple and black getup. The solemn garments provide stark contrast against her wheat-tinted hair. To complete the dark theme, a purplish visor may be affixed to Saber's face. The upcoming Saber figma is a highly posable figure which ships with a mounting stand for countless posing possibilities. Two faces are included with the toy: a mean face where Saber glowers at the world and a screaming face which indicates anger or frustration at a phantom that only figma Saber can see. The figma includes a dark Excalibur sword accessory which may be gripped in the figure's hands.
Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late June 2010 at JPY2800 or US$32.90 from NCS.

ETC Rooftop Garden
In about a week or two, we'll begin mapping out what we'll be planting on our building's rooftop garden this year. Mexican sunflowers are on tap along with dwarf blueberry plants, purslane, eggplant, and lemon trees. We might try pumpkins this year but they take up a lot of space and if the yield is good, moving big pumpkins from the roof to the offices might require more manpower than we're willing to exert for squash.
