Capcom Girls Collection Poison Reflect Black Ver. - Preorder

«©NCSX» In the original Japanese Final Fight game, three heroes named Cody, Guy, and Haggar went on a mission to rescue Haggar's daughter Jessica from the Mad Gear gang. There were memorable enemy bosses and underlings in the game including Rolento, Sodom, and of course, Poison and Roxy. P&R were biker chicks who wore short shorts and bikinis... not on the beach but in the hood. Poison was memorable for her hot pink hair and acrobatic kicks where she somersaulted and smacked Cody and company around. Despite having the face of an angel, Poison was lethal.

Masauzi Yoshizawa of REFLECT originally created Poison as a garage kit which was followed by a finished PVC figure version. For the third incarnation, Poison now sports blonde hair and wears a black mini skirt. The figure is set at 1/6 scale and measures 28cm (11.02") tall from her spiky heels to the top of her removable cap. A pair of handcuffs is included in the product packaging to serve as a nifty accessory. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late July 2009 at JPY6800 or US$72.90 from NCS.

Saraba Itoshiki Onna Yo (さらば愛しき女よ) - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» If you're in the market for a game based on an old school gumshoe, this one's for you. Raymond Chandler (1888-1959) created the Philip Marlowe character for Depression-era America and found a rapt audience through novels, comic books, films, and radio dramas. In the 80s, HBO revived Marlowe for a 11-episode run that saw Powers Boothe in the lead role.

Japanese publisher Furyu brings Philip Marlowe back for a Nintendo DS game which is based on the 1940 novel titled
Farewell, My Lovely. In the story, a redhead named Velma Valento is the root of Marlowe's investigation who has taken on a secret identity to escape her past... which is literally looking for her. Furyu takes artistic license with their adaptation of the novel and throws in a few twists and turns to freshen up the source material.

As the game begins, Marlowe encounters a bruiser named Moose Malloy at a bar. Moose is looking for his old flame named Velma Valento but in the 8 years that he's been incarcerated, Velma has vamoosed her old haunts and is living another life. Through a conspiracy of events, Marlowe finds himself entangled in Moose and Velma's drama. Preorders ship on May 28, 2009.
