TOYS Real Action Heroes 555 Star Wars R5-D4 - Import Preorder

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Medicom is working on a Real Action Heroes figure which is based on the R5-D4 Astromech droid from Star Wars. In the movies, R5-D4 looks soiled and grimy with its outer shell marred by dirt and streaks. The RAH rendition of R5-D4 is pristine and looks like it just rolled off the Industrial Automaton assembly lines. The toy measures 17.50cm tall or 6.88" tall although the dome antenna on top adds roughly 2" to the overall height of the droid. It's unclear if the RAH R5-D4 will house a faulty motivator which famously malfunctioned at just the right time in the Star Wars IV: A New Hope movie.

R5-D4 motors around on two struts but a third strut may be added to the bottom of the toy figure and locked into place so that the droid can be positioned into different angles and orientations. The measurements of the RAH R5-D4 are
25 x 20 x 14cm or 9.84 x 7.87 x 5.51" in dimensions.

Preorders are welcome to ship in December 2011 at JPY15800 or US$229.90 from NCS. Due to the size of this product, NCS recommends only shipping by UPS Ground within the United States.

CUP Final Fantasy VII Rufus Memorial Cup - Import Preorder

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» In the Final Fantasy VII game, Sephiroth attacks Shinra HQ in Midgar and President Shinra is killed along with all of the staffers and workers. The President's passing gives his son Rufus the opening to become president of the company. To commemorate the event, the Shinra company holds an inauguration ceremony to mark Rufus' ascension which was complete with a parade, red banners, and red drinking cups. Why the color red? Because Rufus means "Red" in Latin. Square's thoughtful like that and considerate of decorum.

Square Enix celebrates Rufus' presidency in Final Fantasy VII by announcing the production of a red cup with the name "Rufus" scribbled across the front in the same script that was used in the banners in his in-game parade. The cup is colored a dark red that's opaque so the level of the beverage inside may be spied. Preorders are welcome to ship on October 2011 at JPY1000 or US$23.90 from NCS.

TOYS Final Fantasy XIV Mog Plush - Import Preorder

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Square Enix is re-releasing the Final Fantasy Mog Plush but they're re-branding it as a Final Fantasy XIV plush. The Mog is the same exact plush that's been released and re-released over the years to the Japanese toy market. A bulbous red nose sits in the center of the Mog's face and its eyes are "X's" which make it appear deceased. A pair of purple wings adorn its back and the familiar red ball-on-a-stalk rises from the top of the Mog's head like an antenna of some sort.

In the Final Fantasy games, the Mog or Moogle talks to its comrades by dancing and a team of Mogs may be seen dancing in Final Fantasy XII. The upcoming reissue of the Mog measures 21cm or 8.26" tall and is made of a plush material. Pricing is set at JPY2000 or US$36.90 from NCS and preorders are welcome to ship in November 2011.

TOYS Final Fantasy XIII Original Lighting Strap - Import Preorder

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Lightning struck (sorry) when Final Fantasy XIII shipped on the Japanese Playstation 3 in 2009 to eager fans around the globe. Sure, most stateside players couldn't read the text in the adventure but that didn't stop gamers from doling out a nifty US$100 for a chance to check out the latest Final Fantasy adventure. A treasure trove of merchandise has already been released to dovetail with the game but Square keeps the gravy train rolling with some more goodies this year.

The Lightning Strap was originally released in Japan in the first week of March 2010 but Square Enix is re-releasing the ornament once again in November 2011. The FFXIII Original Lightning Strap features a black metal plate with silver-colored trim that's jagged like a bolt of lightning. Get it? Lightning. The plate measures H50 x W29 x D2mm in dimension and a pair of Swarovski crystals are embedded on one end of the bolt. A second smaller plate measuring H35 x W5 x D1mm is also tethered to the retaining loop. In addition to serving as a strap, the metal lightning bolt may also be used as a pendant or an earring. Preorders are welcome.
